We have some of the best outfields at our campus and me being a football lover, i love going to the pitch that is on offer at our college.
The faculty. nhce has great faculty, lectures are really kind and supportive.
All the best companies like ibm, capegemini, kpit have joined hands with nhce to take studente of nhce and help them excel in their careers.

Dislikes

College is good but the traffic around the college is bad
System are not so good the mouse of the system will not work some times
Notes are not given by hand only online notes.

The campus life was good but it is a small campus but the placement was good

I like the faculties are student friendly
There are many programs happening every week
The college campus is fully filled with geenery

Dislikes

The food given in the hostel is not much good but they provide hygiene
Class hours start from 9-5pm so I was like scholl days
They give less sports facilities for the students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The classes start from 9-5pm and after we have to think whether we have to go out and we get chill and we come back to hostel before 9.30pm and better college I think according to me and there was a library where we can study

Good campus for outsiders and it’s really good 👍
They conduct good events and they have everything in college
College have nice play ground and a good food

Dislikes

College Fee is too much more than you expect
College is fee is ok in blr but hostel fee is too much
If you fail in a subject they charge too much for one credit like 2k per credit

Placement Experience:

College placements are really good in this college and average students package is 7LPA in this college highest is 30LPA soo it's good for placements and you ll get a job easily and placement training is also too good in college

My College ka review New horizon new life

Likes

I like the gardens and also the outdoor gym
I like how hygiene and clean, they keep the place
I like that, there are two badminton court inside the hostel

Dislikes

I did not like the food that they give here
There are no hot water that is drinkable in the hostel
The class hours are way too much for me which starts from 9-4

I chose computer science because in the current world, everything is changing to IT and i like coding The teaching method of our faculties are actually good. They teach very well and are very student interactive.

I am a first year student I am the placements are offered to most of the students in the final year some of them get placed at a very high annual salary average salary is also not bad they also train the students for the placement

Events keep happening every week . The famous fest of the college is called sargam
The ratio of boys and girls in the college is almost equal
Good atmosphere and greenery around the college

Dislikes

The total acre of land the college is built is small
Could have at even more sports ground and facilities
Not much parking space for students who come by their own

The course that I opted for is electronics and communication. In the first year the subject that is thought is same for every student. The next year the students are categorised into their respected course.

The events that they conduct is very top tier
The faculty is very high expertise and helps a alot
Labs are very highly equipped and available always

Classroom size in not sufficient for a batch of 74
Parking facility is not so organised in the ground
The rules for the hostel students are very bad

The internal exams has 1 month gap between each two, those exam abit tough since it prepares us for the final semester exam. Course curriculum is completely focused on the concept based learning techniques

We have great facilities for professional development
We have good ground and gym and the staff also more friendly all the time

In 5 semester it self the student will get eligible for attending placement drives from college Cognizant have visited and 250 members got offer letter from new horizon college of engineering In our batch the highest ever package was 23CTC and they gave training when they are in 6th semester The percentage of students getting placement is minimum 70% Work for a company

On the Horizon

Likes

The greenary, the administration tends to have new garden designs every year.
The lab faculty and availability or equipments on demand.
The classrooms and the monitors for effective learning experience.

Dislikes

The complicated fee structure and the breakdown.
The placements are fine but almost 40% are into mass recruitment.

Placement Experience:

7th semester. The placements can happen in the final year. The end of 7th semester, invites opportunities for varies campus interviews. There is a limit of 3 offers that can be obtained per student. The placement department doesn't restrict from applying for dream opportunity.

The review of common middle class student

Likes

College campus is very good and very clean I really loved the college campus
College canteen food are very delicious to eat
College are giving important to education and as well as other co curricular activities also I like it

Dislikes

Faculty should take care the students more then they take now
The college timing is too early at 9 and all can't attend the first class because of traffic in banglore
System are not so good the mouse of the system will not work some times

This is first year to me because I don't know all about my course so in first year all are studying same only it is ok to all because the topics are some done in our 2nd gurde only so we don't have more tention . The timing for exam is very less and we should write yhe exam for 50 mark so the exam time duration is less we can write it fast

A Brief Review of My College (New Horizon College of Engineering)

Likes

The Campus infrastructure and the environment
Faculties are very helpful and are approachable
There is no ragging and very strict action is taken against it.

Dislikes

Morning from 8-9 there is very much traffic
I wish we had classes from 10am till 3-4pm
There are very heavy fines if you are not following the rules

Our college (NHCE) is affiliated to VTU but it's autonomous college. I like mechanical engineering and my father is also a mechanical engineer which inspired me to mechanical engineering. It is a bit outdated, expect more applications of the concepts. As I said we have exams every month, the frequency is good and the difficulty of exams I mid to easy range.
