Likes

Sometimes when we get language barriers they resolve it.and teachers in lab is so active they help each and every student to get clarity over things.
The college should provide scholarships on basis of student's skills because most of the students come from middle class family and it would be very helpful and motivating for them if college does so.
Placement scenerio of it department is about 80% percent on campus.lots of mass hiring companies visited our college like tcs, cognizant, accenture and lti.so they hire approx 60 students so placement is pretty good.

Dislikes

Fees structure i don't like as it is too high to pay and also very different fees structure is oresent here different from all other colleges
College campus is small and no tennis court no cricket ground no football ground
I am still a student in 1st year, so there is no placement this year, but the placement stats for branches other than cse is poor.

Friendly ambience to study , a pure ragging free campus , the college is well connected to travel
Good alumni for helping and growth. They provide help and assistance to learn the skills required and motivate to go further
The infrastructure of the college is developing recently and it's being far better day by day .

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is moderate Most of them gets placed there are hardly few lacking efficiency who doesn't gets placed. Companies like microsoft adobe IBM do visit our campus. It's recommended to up skill and get placed

The coding culture is very good in netaji subhash engineering college Kolkata
Interaction between teachers and students are good like if anyone having problems in topics they can easily asks
Overall environment is good like ragging free campus it is.

Library close very early it creates a problem I guess
Sometimes I feel little bit language barriers.
And college does not have own hostel and pg .

First of all computer science and engineering branch is so trending in this generation and it will helps to grow more so I decided to take this branch. Teachers are really nice there and the gap between the even semester exam is very less so this can be improved

The honest review being an student for 3 years

Likes

The college is very much open to students .. having moderate facilities .. nice sports comittee have ground . Cricket and football matches are played .
The teachers in CSE are very much helpful and guide us .
The library is well good .. the college have a park type ground at the middle where everyone can rely on . Table tennis is a good choice in this college

Dislikes

The security staffs have problems in many thing . The management set rules which are tough .
The college playing time is short. It cannot afford a lot of cost
Fests happen on regular basis but from this year it's been diminishing

The CSE is a verse course . The syllabus is well related and the course is. Very helpful .. student can go into different options they are provided with . There is a wide range of study and field. In the course curriculum this must be started from 1st year .. or else a year gets wasted.

Brief Review of NSEC

Likes

Placement are good enough if you are hard working students.
Faculty teachers are good enough to teach , if we focus on class then no need to study from anywhere else.
Events are taking place every month , which makes college life enjoyable .

Dislikes

There is no Hostel in college , we had to stay outside by staying in PG/Mess
There is no such big playground in college .
There is no such big canteen in college , & there is no such great variety of food.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Semester students are eligible for campus placementd . Many companies recruit students from our college Like TCS,Amazon , Google , Flipkart , Cognizant,etc. TCS makes offer of 5-8lpa averagely. Highest package is 32lpa by TCS 50% students are placed in on-campus. My plan is getting placement from my college after getting degree.

Honest opinion on NSEC

Likes

The faculties are very helpful in all the streams.
The placement is decent in case,it,ece,ee.
No linguistic barrier despite being in west bengal.

Dislikes

The campus is small in size about 5 acres.
The location of the college is okaish.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester u are eglible for placement. The college offers a good campus placement. Companies like TCS, Accenture,virtusa and many other companies keep visiting the college. Approx 85 percent students are placed each year.

Pros and cons of NSEC kolkata

Likes

Campus Life, you can find good friends too, canteen, placement,
Faculty is very good. You can interact with them everytime whenever you feel any doubts regarding any thing.
Canteen is also good. You can find various varieties of foods. You can eat South Indian thali, North Indian food, chai, coffee etc

Here is nothing which I dislike about my college

Course curriculum is very much good. Syllabus complete on time even before time. There are 4exams conducted before semester. And two practicals . You have to perform good in that for getting good marks in semester examination
