MIET Meerut Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I chose this course because of its demand in civil sites like road construction and other building areas. Qualifications of teachers are a master's degree and ph.d. After every 21 days, sessional exams are held in the college.

Form 7 semester students start giving interviews, being civil engineering student I was got placed in 3 companies, which were said they are core but were not core companies of civil, they were just related to civil, currently, I am working in congruent Asian Pacific LLP where I got placed by College at 4 lac package per year.

My college is eligible for the placement of the in7th sem. There are many companies provided in my college for placement like TCS Wipro etc. The minimum percentage of getting a fifth placement is 60 percent overall. My plan is for a job.

There are 45 students in total in our course, and about 25 of them will be placed as per protocols. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA. The average salary package offered was around 5.16 LPA-6.2 LPA. Micromax and GPIS Noida are the top recruiters for our course. None of the students got internships because of Covid. If you want to become a good civil engineer, study hard to get admission to an IIT.

First of all, my course was unique from the other course. And other engineering courses were derived after Civil Engineering. My interest was always in civil engineering, that's why I opted for this course. Also, I would like to share that my batch was the first batch of civil engineering from my college. Sp, faculties were mostly experienced from their respective field jobs, which later shared all their actual field experience which have definitely helped me in my career. Exams always conducted as per the scheduled program which was given during the starting of any session.

It's all about education, less extracurricular activities, more like a school.

In positive remark i would say the infrastructure amd environment is good. Grounds and canteen is average. Cafe here is excellent. Transportation is not so good, college buses are not upgraded. In negative remark i would say the entry in the college required lot of pen work.

No extracurricular activities are there. Strict rules are there. Surrounding is covered with fighting and every week there is a fight in the college. the children take alcohol as well as drugs too.

I took UPTU and i scored 250 marks, i choose B.tech (civil engineering), because i want to become a civil engineer. I opt. This because it is near to me and best college in Meerut.
