My dear college

Likes

The teachers are very cooperative and friendly.
The libraries are well equipped with a lot of books.
There is on attendance pressure on students.

Dislikes

I had applied to Brihan Maharashtra college of commerce (BMCC) and I also got a confirmed admission form that college. I chose this college over that one as this college does not force a lot for attendance and is good for students persuing professional courses. I didn't get rejected from any college as my academic performance was good. The admission process is simple. There are rounds of lists of selected student on merit basis of previous grades and categories.

Likes

The faculty is very helpful and approachable and available when required
The computer labs are well equipped and accessible when required
Internship opportunity is very good and most of students do there scholarship in 3rd year

Dislikes

The infrastructure of college is very bad and small
No college life can be expected is college very strict for small celebrations
Not well equipped equipment to work withh

I got this college through MHT CET cap counselling and this wasnt the college as my main target i missed the college by a little percentile because of the 2024 High cuttoffs i misread the situation and got this college but i got this completely throught the merit and the admission process was very smooth from reporting to college to start of college eveyrhint is pretty smooth

My words about MMCOE

Likes

Good placement opportunities companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys,cognizant and Accenture visits the campus for the placement.
The campus has modern labs,a library and digital learning environment.
There are several sports facilities available at the campus.

Dislikes

The campus area of mmcoe is comparatively small and have limited open spaces.
The college has some strict attendance and discipline rules which feels restrictive sometimes.
There are technical events happening several times but the cultural events lags.

Admission:

As I mention before I also applied for mitwpu for mechanical engineering department but the main reason behind choosing the mmcoe college is the fees required at MIT is pretty higher compared to mmcoe and as I consulted with my teachers I got to know that the mmcoe delivers better knowledge with minimal amount of fees. Also MMCOE offers multiple scholarships programs compared to MIT that's why I choose mmcoe over the MIT college.

The college provides you amenities such as sports ground gymnasium
Faculty at the college has really good experience at their particular subjects.
The learning infrastructure provided by the college is really friendly and you got reminders knowledge from it.

Dislikes

The campus is not so spacious And had some limitations
The college is located at the City centre so there are some traffic issues at peak time
There are only two elevators located at the college building so that causes but it to students for climbing stairs all the way up and down.

As I came from the Chandrapur district the college I was offered there has not records for placement and teaching that's why I choose to come at Pune. In Pune I search for several colleges such as jspm, sinhagad College of Engineering Pune, MIT, VIT, VIIT but as i consulted with some known ones I got to know about mmcoe which gives you best placement records, best teaching experience . Also the mmcoe is famous for its mechanical department. The mechanical department at mmcoe is one of the best department who has the best placement record at the college. Due to this reasons I choose MMCOE than other colleges.

First of all i like the fact that the college is very strict with any regards. ID card is mandatory for all things.
Attendance is taken very seriously and they even conduct Parents Teachers Meet even being at college level.
Infrastructure and amenities are ample. Each classroom is equipped with smart tvs or white board. labs have very powerful PCs and even for core branches the labs are well equipped.

Dislikes

College campus is very small which is something disliking for many.
Teaching faculty is hit or miss scene. Some are very nice but some are not.
Other extra-curricular activities like sports are not given that much importance unless you earn a medal or make some reasonable finish.

The reason of choosing this college over others is travel time. I live in Karvenagar and my college is also in Karvenagar itself so it is very time saving and energy saving for me. But moreover I think that i didnt just choose it for the sake i also think it didnt hamper my education as this college is not lower in any means.I had the option to choose from colleges like SCOE, MMCOE, and PES Modern. I initially got admitted to Modern College which is in Shivaji Nagar but i choose this over that is because i think they are evenly rated colleges so i took the one which is closer to me. I did apply for other colleges like COEP, PICT, PCCOE, PVG and i couldnt make into them is only because of cutoffs. These are very high cutoff colleges. They are the top rated colleges in Pune. They are better in all aspect compared to my college with huge campus, superior infrastructre, greater and better placement and teaching faculty. Admission process is like any other enginerring college, eligibility criteria is based on percentile of various exam and in some case percentage of 12th board. In my college MHTCET and JEE exams are accepted for my course and MHTCET is the most preferred by students. Cutoff of my college for my course is minimum 91-93 percentile in CET and 80+ percentile in JEE. It is more for Computer Science engineering. It decreases for other branches gradually but i would say is pretty decent. Admission experience is very smooth i had no issues whatsoever.

Likes

Syllabus offered by the college is really practical based and has the application based learning.
The College offered multiple growth opportunities to the students.
The campus of the college has great facilities.

Dislikes

There are some limitations in the campus due to lack of space.
The college location causes alot of traffic on peak hours.

I have applied for these colleges - 1.VIIT pune for Mechanical engineering 2.JSPM pune for Mechanical and Entc department. 3. Sinhagad college of engineering for Mechanical and IT department. 4.MMCOE for Mechanical department. Reasons why I choosed MMCOE over these colleges- 1. Curriculum offered by the college is application based and focused on real world application. 2. Faculties at MMCOE are majorly PhD holders and well experienced within their particular subjects. 3.College has best in class placement records for Mechanical Department. 4. There are several clubs related to the Mechanical department which gives students work on real world problems and helps them to solve these problems. Admission process at MMCOE is not much complicated you can take admission with 3 modes such as CAP rounds, Management quota and Spot rounds. The overall admission experience of mine is that you have to come on the allotted date with documents listed by the institution. Then everything is handled by the college itself.

My Views about MMCOE

Likes

The teaching culture of the institution.
Faculties with upto the mark knowledge and experience.
Various programmes and opportunities offered by the college for the growth of the students.

Dislikes

The campus is not so big that creates crowd in the campus during the recess time.
College provides free wifi but has lot of restrictions to use it.
There is compulsion for the attendance and the lectures.

As I mentioned I have applied for the JSPM college at narhe for the mechanical department. But after consulting with some my seniors and known ones I got to know that MMCOE is the famous college in pune for its mechanical department. Then I applied for the MMCOE college and took admission in it. Admission process at MMCOE is manage by the CAP rounds there are also several ways to get admission at MMCOE such as the Management quota. The admission process of CAP rounds is consist of 3 rounds for each round you have to fill the option form where you give your college and department preferences in descending order. As you qualifies for any department cutoff you can take the admission. You have to visit the allotted college within given period of time and confirm your seat at the college with payment of full fees you admission is confirmed.

Likes

The teaching facilities and teaching facilities are up to the mark.
There is application based education policy
Each and every faculty is a phd holder and deliver proper guidance to the students.

Dislikes

The campus is not as big but well maintained anaged
This college is located at City centre that causes traffic at peak times
There are some restriction for boys which riding bikes inside campus

As I mentioned I also applied for ENTC branch at S B Patil College at Indapur. But I did not get the admission there here are few reasons of it. 1.The faculties at sb patil are not as capable as of MMCOE. 2. The campus placement offerings are not as much of the MMCOE. 3.The campus facilities like clubs student council are not available at sb patil. The admission process includes the cap round and CET score is considered for cutoff consideration. Also jee score can be considered for the admission. Overall admission experience is pretty tension free and this can be done in few hours.

All about MMCOE

Likes

The teaching faculties are mainly PhD holders in their respective subjects.
The faculties are always available for solving doubts (in college timings only)
There are Multiple clubs available in college campus. Which includes technical and cultural clubs both such as Baha for mechanical department.

Dislikes

The college has the compulsion about the lecture attendance.
The faculties can give you any task at any time with an headline.
The college timings are of 7 hours a day.which causes fatigue.

Admission:

•I have applied for vishwakarma institute of technology (VIT pune) for Btech mechanical and Amrutvahini college of Engineering (AVCOE) for BE mechanical from these I got confirmed at AVCOE but there are limited placements records and the faculties available are not as good as faculties at my college. So that's why I choose MMCOE college. •Yes, I got rejected from VIT Pune and MIT pune because I cannot clear their cutoff marks criteria so I can't get in these colleges •The admission process is not so complicated you can get admission from 3 ways which includes Management quota, CAP rounds and Spot round. As I got admission through CAP there is an exam named as CET (Common entrance test) after the exam there is 3 rounds of CAP are carried out. In these rounds students has to fill the option form in this form students can fill their dream colleges with the branch they want in an descending order. Also there is an criteria of cutoff for each branch of every college. As a student clear the cutoff he/she is able to take admission in the college. There are 3 rounds of CAP process.As students is selected at an college he has to approach the college within fixed timings and secure their seats in their dream college

Mmcc College Life

Likes

College area is too good with good environment.
College staff is very helpful and interactive. Teaching methods used by them is also good.
The College is always try to conduct extra curricular activities for the development of students.

Dislikes

Infrastructure of the College is need to be bigger.
Campus of the college must be bigger than now.

Admission:

I have applied many colleges in pune such as modern, Ymcc and Mmcc. But over the all other colleges i choose Mmcc because of the result of the college was good, alumni give good feedback about the college. Admission for the college is done by merit list. Overall admission process is online on the vriddhi portal.
