Admission to the college is available through management quotas and government scholarships, which may offer fee waivers for tuition, hostel, and bus services. The B. Tech in IT program is particularly popular, and the college is seen as a good fit for middle-class students. Faculty members are generally approachable and knowledgeable, finishing the syllabus 4 to 5 days before exams, although not all have industry experience. The college conducts three internal exams each semester, with two semesters per year.
The annual tuition fee is approximately 40,000 INR, not including hostel, bus, examination, and placement fees. Fees may vary based on state government scholarships, which are caste-based. Payments can be made by cash, demand draft, or debit card (for specific fees). Each year, 80 to 120 companies, primarily from the IT sector, visit for placements. Students receive placement training from their first year. For B.Tech-IT students entering through government quota, the second-year tuition fee is about 100,000 INR with an initial admission fee of 3,000 INR, while the management quota fee is around 120,000 INR.
There are no lab fees but a lab breakage fee of 100 INR is charged during exams. First-generation graduates get a 25,000 INR reduction in fees, and the PMSS scholarship offers 7,500 INR, with an additional 5,000 INR for first-generation graduates.
