Likes

Scholarships like mptassc and etc helps students for some affordings.
The faculty and staff of chemical department is very nice and friendly with students , and the laboratory of my department is also good so i learnt many of the things that a chemical engineer should know about
These are accessible easily the infracture greenry and sports facilty will catch anyone's eye clubs like hindisamiti and bandish are very active and keep organising great events frequenty.

Dislikes

They are also not providing hostel for 2nd and 3rd year student that's make me so much disappointed.
The placement for core branches is very poor .there are many students suffering from unemployment.
No as such annual fest are conducted and overall college life is dead in this college if different clubs even try to arrange some fest college authorities does not support at all.

Likes

I liked the infrastructure of the college.
I liked the teaching of the professors. They are doing a tremendous job.
Facilities are provided by the Institute along with cleanliness are appreciable.

Dislikes

Maintainance of the classrooms in some of the classes.
The vehicle parking is chargeable, this should be free for students.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are eligible to get placements. Volvo and Eicher recently visited the college. Heighest package of 10LPA and average of 5LPA. I've some different plans as I've to join defence services.

A real exposure of mits

Likes

I liked the interior of college since its high but good
Boys to girls ratio is good you can see 20-30 girls in 60 boys
I like the environment of the campus but coding environment is not good

Dislikes

Coding environment of college is not good
U can't get proper guidance about what to do next
Not good placement opportunities you cant get more that 7 lpa

Placement Experience:

Placement truly speaking its time of recession so placement is rarely seen and companies comes with 5-10 students within 500-600 apply for companies so its quite tough to get placement but with the time recession ends its become normal

Good College in wrong location

Likes

Faculty is very good,mature,experienced and helpful as well
College fees is affordable and their are scholarships as well.
College infrastructure is pretty good, classroom have air conditioners as well.

Dislikes

College environment is not good because of too much violence from local students
Campus is pretty small, and no hostel facilities after the first year
No co-curricular activities, no fest and no sport meets

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I belong to the newer branch called Internet of Things, so curriculum was pretty decent and good but I doesn't include the practical knowledge, so that was the week point and other than that My branch came under IT dept. So curriculum also includes IT subjects like DSA and OOPS , OS and DBMS etc.

Very Good campus , well maintained sports ground .
Stress free day to day life . Not much hectic

Gwalior's weather is never good throughout the year

Placement Experience:

Placement come around 7th semester. Tech mass recruiters like Accenture , cognizant, LTI mindtree etc. visit every year . With packages ranging from 4 lpa to 6.5 lpa . And also some other companies come with better packages than above mentioned. Everyone do not get placements but if you prepare well you will get placed

College is good but Gundagardi is at peak

Likes

Infrastructure and facilities are good. All sport grounds are there.
Placement is good. Seniors are friendly.
Few professors are also very cooperative and understanding. But only a few.

Dislikes

Girls to boys ratio is not good. Only 5 girls in a class of 100 students.
Gundagardi and Bullying is at the peak. Only the strong ones survive.
Some Professors are really the worst person I have ever met on this planet.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. Many companies visit the campus like IBM, Infosys, TCS, Wipro etc. Highest package in mechanical branch is 12 LPA and and average is 4 LPA. Approx 80% student get placement. I am not interested in placement I'm working on so many things. By the time my batchmates would be sitting for placement I want to be in position to offer a job.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the campus of mits

Likes

the faculties are supportive and friendly they are ready to help
the course curriculum is well maintained updated and detailed as for our course
the campus is green and has ample of green spaces and grounds

Dislikes

the infrastructure is not well maintained even after paying for maintenance fees every year
no AC classroom the internet support is not available and the digital amenities are near to nothing
the girls boys ratio is very bad the crowd is also not very good no campus life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum for architecture is detailed and brings enthusiasm in me because it requires equal amount of classroom studies and practical knowledge. the site visits are not really often and if happens we have to pay for our own experience. this is all it needs to be updated. the exams provide us with opportunity to check our learning we have mid semester exams three times it is compulsory to appear for 2 of them.

I like the infrastructure of this college it provides a very calm place to study and all department buildings are very well furnished
Alumni network because the college is so old thats why it provide good alumni network
curriculum its having a great curriculum providing with new age college

Dislikes

Fees its fees is so high it is difficult for middle classs to afford this
Strictness for all things ...they take immediate action ..dont check the reason
Small campus ...campus is too small compare to college having this type of fee

I think its curriculum is same as all the old colleges running in india I mean they only focus on theoritical part Instead of it they should focus only company oriented curriculum which is good for job opportunities

The presence of friendly faculty members are all Ph.D holders they getting one to one mentorship if you have any problem. In our college not an auditorium , so i thing there need to improvement
Here all are the faculty P Hd. holder and experienced , there teaching methods new like they teaches to the projector and giving one to one mentorship if you have any problem
Social Life is good because here many more clubs & society to interacting the students . you easily to interact people in our collage, here NCC, cricket ground , football ground , badminton - wallyball , Basketball court to enhancing your sport .

college did not providing internship opportunity
In there not any not any cultural fest like others collages

7th-semester student eligible for placement , and 3-4 cumpany coming to our collage in 7th sem like accenture, Lanip,tata after this you had to chance 8 th semester to opportunity for placement , this time many more companies to coming to our college Accenture, TATA, LANIP and some cumpany coming but i dont know the name In previous year 12LPA highest plachment gone our collage one senior told me , i dont know the detailed info about us. After degree i have to plan takig placement in our collage

Likes

Many leading companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, IBM visit the college for placements.
The placements here go quite good as some good companies like accenture, wipro visits and they select the capable students and gives good package to them
All the clubs are very engaging and help to figure out your interest and everything

Dislikes

The placement cell is not that much active
Some professor takes things to there ego

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placement from the 7th semester and comapanies like Wipro tcs all come for the placement the highest CTC is 1 crore here and the minimum is 4-5 lakh for core branches and for the lower branches the placement is not that much good

MITS Review before Admission in this college

Likes

Infrastructure is Excellent as compare to all other MP's govt college
it is good , interaction is good and campus life is also above avg, ac is also available in class
Some faculty is best for explanation , and faculty is good

Dislikes

High fees above 1 lakh everyone cannot afford it
events are not happening that much , it is happening yearly basis , which is not good campus life
Gym is not available in MITS, only open gym is available which is not good enough

after 3rd year student become eligible for campus placement 1200 student sit in campus placement in 2024 , 579 student placed, 58 companies visited, Accenture, newgen , amazon Highest package 1cr, avg 6.5 accenture my plans is for placementt
