MITS Gwalior Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

At time of admission i dont know anyting about curriculum. Curriculum is preety good and most of the faculties are also supportive. Classses timing need to be improve. Frequency and timing are pretty good and organised.

Placements are not so good at this time because companies are not coming becuase of recession. Some companies are coming and provide a chance to get placed at a low package around 3-4 lakhs/year and we know that it is not so good.

I will not say that placements are good here specially in core. But the teaching methods of faculty are too good, You can opt for GATE. From 6 semester students become eligible for campus placements. VOLVO came this year and took plenty of students. Highest and average packages are 10 -3 lakhs. 20-25%students got placed.

in 7 sem students become eleigbile for placements newen-5lpa accenture 4.5lpa higest package was 10lpa and average package is 3.5lpa 30% students only got placed this year i will work as software developer after college.

From 6 semester onwards students become eligible for placement and internship.accenture , Infosys,tcs ,etc are the top companies that have visited in mits.40%of the students getting placement. After getting a degree I have to apply in a gate exam .

Usually in our college, students starts participating in placements form 6th semester. This year the highest package was about 10 lpa .The companies like Accenture, Wipro TCS offers placements in our college.

I choose artificial intelligence and machine learning as my branch because I have interest in machine learning. I really want to become artificial intelligence engineer in a company.Faculty members of mits are very good. There are highly educated professor's who make difficult problems easy. Faculty student ratio is also good there is atleat 1 teacher over 10 students.Every month there is a term exam it was not difficult to pass the exam but you have to study if you really want to score good in the examination.Teaching method is also very good in mits.Practical labs are also very good place to learn the skills .

From 6th and 7th semester you are eligible for placement and companies came in this year. Avg. of 10 companies visited in which majorily were mass recruitment. Highest package is 1 crore but it is off campus. On campus it is around 10 lac . 70-80% students of my branch placed . My plans were competitive programming.
