I love our auditorium cause it is clean and very spacious
I love our computer labs in cse departments installed with high configuration computers.
I also am fond of our libraries with diverse books

Dislikes

A major issue is a water problem in the locality which should be checked.
Very less introduction of smart board and projectors.

I choose my college over others simply because of the introduction of the topic of artificial intelligence and machine learning. My college was one of the first to introduce this topic which got my unshaken attention. The admission process is quite smooth and was not a hassle.

MCKV Institute of Engineering College Review

Likes

Teacher are very good and their teaching style is very engaging. Mentorship is provided to each student personally. Girls to boys ratio is near about 4:1.
Every month small tech-fests and competition are conducted by students to keep engagement side by side.
Infrastructure is good in terms of lab and classes. We have a great collection of books in our library.

Dislikes

Campus is too small, and no playing ground is present except a basketball ground.
Canteen and water for drinking is disgusting. Health issues arises every week for this reason.
Insufficient seats for those who want to stay at hostel. Boys' hostel is 4Km apart from the college.

Admission:

I got confirmed adimission from JIS College of Engineering, Kalyani and Narula Institute of Technology, Agarpara. I chose this college because I got CSE Branch here. I got ECE from JIS and Narula, but wanted to opt CSE, so I took admission to MCKV. One need to get admitted into college through couselling or Management quota. Students must have 75% in there 12th or 60% in their diploma to get admitted. WBJEE and JEE Mains exams are excepted are. Most preferred exam is WBJEE. The cut offs are near about: CSE: 14600(General) & 250000(AIR for JEE Mains) IT: 21000(General) & 300000(AIR for JEE mains) ECE: 35000(General) & 4500000(AIR for JEE mains) If you have near about this, your admission will be smooth.

Faculties, they are really good behaves well and available all time .
Departmental events , evnts in inter colleges , opportunities awareness

Dislikes

Attendance problem, ,tooo much strict about attendance
Even in 3 rd year we are facing issues regarding attendance

Admission:

I applied to bppoddar , techno inda , didnt got admission form but i thought of . This college is near to my location distance is quite less. Mentoring is better othe than other colleges. My admission is done through wbjee exam . Other competative exams which this college accepts are jee main , eligibility depends on cutoffs .

Likes

Teachers always ready to help you in any academic problems.
Regularly cleaning washroom and toilets.
Friendly environment of the students and no ragging.

Dislikes

Water in the college in not good and tastes bad
Small play ground and sometime car and bikes are parked near the play ground
The food which are available in the canteen is not tasty and non veg in not allowed in the college

Admission:

I had applied for AOT college also but in counselling I got this college and it near to my house and also I choose this college because it have automobile engineering. Due to my bad rank I got rejected from AOT admission took only one day the day I went first in the college same day I completed my admission.

Teachers are very professional and friendly the way of teaching is really good also they are very supportive
Several events take place each month which help students to grow there soft skills
Placement cell provides information about latest internship and examination and several opportunities

Dislikes

Small campus , it is a compact institute has fields for sports also but the fields are comparatively small

1. The main reason for choosing this college was it was near my home 2. I also got confirmed addmission in the techno international but I choose this college over that because it has less fees and also provides better placement 3. The admission process for my college is you can apply it form jee mains wbjee and also management quota is there

MCKVIE, a good college for its price

Likes

It is an autonomous college, has good infrastructure, automobile engineering is also available in this college as a branch and it has a dedicated workshop as well. The computer labs are air conditioned. It also has an underground auditorium.
The college is very strict when it comes to ragging. The campus along with the hostels is ragging free. Freshers have a separate hostel. The seniors are very friendly are very friendly.
Most of the professors and teachers are knowlegeable and very helpful. They are always ready to clear any doubts and genuinely want even the weak students to perform well.

Dislikes

The biggest con in my opinion is the absence of a football field.
The college is located in the industrial town of Liluah, on the GT road, prone to heavy traffic and pollution.
I feel it's sometimes challenging for non-bengali students to understand as the teachers tend to explain things in bengali. However that will not be an issue as you can always ask your friends or approach the teacher directly

Admission:

I applied for admission in many colleges like Siliguri Institute of technology, Heritage Institute of technology, Techno Main Salt Lake, Calcutta Institute of Engineering and management. (Through management quota) From the above, I got a confirmed admission in CIEM(Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management) but i later opted for WBJEE Counseling to try my luck there. I put many colleges in My WBJEE preference list. It's very fortunate that I found out about MCKVIE at the last moment as it was a very good college considering its low price. From the colleges that i opted for both in counseling and management quota... most colleges were too expensive for me, or i was not able to get the desired course. MCKVIE was very suitable as I got CSE with a semester-wise tuition fees of around 55k. The admission process of my college was fairly systematic, I got Core CSE through WBJEE Counseling and got my seat throught WBJEE+JEE Rank. Overall admission experience was a bit lengthy process because it involved the Counseling procedures, but it was smooth and the officials were helpful and well prepared for all kinds of inconveniences

The aspects of the college that i am appreciated that the faculty members always motivated us for the career and briefly explain about current situation of the industies.
the college are helped to development my profession skills and both also personal.
College are helped to the students about the core of the programming ,any such skills that require for cracking a placement this such thing college is provided.

Dislikes

The main that i dislike very much that campus size of the college is very small i think it is the first improvement from my end.
every faculty are teaches very awesome but i think there is some the though are require to the change the style of the learning.
and also improvement the canteen food ,and growth the social interactions in very large way this improvement need by my college i think.

Admission:

Nice In the side of MCKV Institute of engineering Nothing No need any improvement in the admission process. I went to mckv institute of engineering because l like it . It is very beautiful college ???? nice reviews . it is one of the top private autonomous college. the admission process is very simple if you attempt wbjee and jee main though you admiited easily. but if you cannot admitted you can also admitted by giving the donation fees selected by the college authority.you can also 10+2 class eligibily citeria.

First of all I want to mention about the extremely good environment of our college. Its really help us to focus on studies.
Teachers are so good they check each and every student's copy. They even solve a whole problem even if it's one student who couldn't solve the question
Our college focus on extra curricular activities for students so no one gets bored within the 4 years B.tech degree

Dislikes

There is no option for non veg food in college canteen. They just focus on vegetarian foods.
One more thing I should mention we have 2/3 classes in the morning depends on date until lunch time. Within class time in so much early morning sometimes we skip breakfast so we feel hungry and dizzy during the class. Which is too much bad I think.
The college starting time is too much early in the morning and as I have to come to college 55 km far away from the clg so I have to board a train at 7:30 am to reach my class within 9:30 which is painful sometimes

Admission:

I choosed this college because this was the nearest college from my house. Also my mom and dad didn't wanted to leave me alone in hostel or pg as they think I am not matured enough to stay independent. Also we heard a lot of good newses and oppertunities about MCKVIE college. So I decided to take admission in this college. Also placement rate is too high it is one of the main reason for choosing MCKVIE.

There is a good girl to boys ratio in campus
Safer and friendly environment for girls and boys
The library is vast and full of resources for us

Dislikes

The campus is too short for the students studying here
The boys hostel is far from the original campus
The canteen only contains vegeterian items and not non-vegetarian

Well I'm in this college for my poor wbjee rank but despite of being the fact I have poor rank this college is my 2nd priority list and it's decent and I like it as for my 1st priority that's techno main salt lake well that's need a high wbjee score and you can apply in this college for addmission through wbjee

Some say this is the best private engineering college

Likes

The placement is good nearly 85 percentage of students are placed in campus with an average package of 4 lap
The campus is good and big if you are at 1st floor you will take 3 to 4 minutes to get down to the ground
Class are big as comparison to the computerlabs

Dislikes

The canteen you you are non Bengali than you can have a problem of eating in a carteen
Our college is near the road somethime noises also distribute you
You have basket ball court in campus but the volleyball court in the the different ground

I give webjee and I got 17000 mai yahi college mil rh tha cse department mai I don't want other collage because here placement are good for the past 3 years that why I had decided to enroll me as a mckvi student
