HICET offers a two-year post-graduate M.E course in CAD/ CAM keeping in mind the growing importance of the application of computers in the field of Mechanical Engineering. The course teaches the students how to apply computer tools in the creation, design, improvement, and analysis of mechanical products, processes and systems, and in the field of manufacturing. The students specialize the subjects like Computer-Aided Design, Computer Integrated Manufacturing, and Finite Element Analysis, etc.

Faculty student ratio is so good i hope it's 8:1 and they wil give good classes till 2nd year after 2nd year you will not get that much classes and you are own your own .

Best engineering college in Coimbatore

Likes

Area of the campus is 200 acre so it's pretty big wish there is more green an trees in the campus
You can make friends and chill out in the canteen and there are cafes also so you and make friends and chill oit
Teachers are educated but the problem is the teaching method is Tamil some teachers yam they lecture in English but most of them in Tamil

Dislikes

They will put fine amount a large fine amount if you done something bad or your attendance is poor

Placement Experience:

Placement drive in our campus stat from 7th sem .but you will be getting placements training from 4th sent itself . The companies like tech mahindra , cts, Tcs, hcl, zoho , Accenture are the main recruiters the average package is 3lpa-8lpa highest a student got placed in zoho for around 14lpa he was in the computer science engineering I got placed in an ed tech company and I'm getting around 4.5lpa

The college enviroment is very good,so we can concentrate in our studies or exams because of the campus.
The college have such a good skilled faculties,which they will give full support towards our academic side and also support oru other co-curricular activities
College provides workshops,organized events and practicals.

Dislikes

The college provides high donation for the admission and also the food and accomodation in the college hostel is very poor.
The college can provide better placements for students after the course completion and also internships
