GEC Trivandrum Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Generally, 8 th Semester students become eligible to attend the campus selection process. Many prominent companies have visited our college including Infosys, TCS, UST global, IBM, RM, Speridiyan, IBS,etc . Most of the students gets placed by campus selection while some choose for higher studies while others goes for cracking some entrance exams.

The college provides campus placement for students. Usually this starts at the end of 6th semester. Many companies approach our college for recruitment. Some of them are Bosch, Mahindra, TCS, Wipro, IBM, Keltron, etc. The packages offered were from 2 lakh to 8 lakh per annum. And rare companies offered more.Approximately 60% students get campus placement here. My plan is also to het into a company which provides a decent package which gives me experience and make me self relient.

The placement opportunities at GECB are pretty good. Students are eligible for PPOs and placements after the sixth semester. A Lot of companies including TCS, UST Global, Qburst, Quest Global, Infosys, Tata Elxsi, IBS, IBM, Speridian, Flytxt and many more companies visit the college for placements. Most of the students get placed in the seventh semester itself. The placement reports show almost 100% placements. The average package is about 4-5 LPA and the highest package is around 10 LPA. Most of the students gets more than one offer. Around 40% of students after BTech opts for higher studies as well.

It was a government college with friendly, helpful and knowledgable faculty. Scientific and technical societies along with charitable associations were active, providing a good environment of learning and living alike.

Government engineering college Barton hills is a prestigious institution under the Kerala Technical University. This college is at rank 4 based on AICTE.Our college has good placement cell.The college is short in campus but rich in case of faculties. Faculties are so good teaching.Bachelor of technology is a profeesional course and a job offering course.It will help you aquire job in any sector like bank jobs,electrical etc.

Course offers social responsibility and socially relevant scenarios where it follows lab to real norms. Course is focused to make the students socially responsible and thus evolve the future engineers.

College has excellent teaching staff. It has also excellent lab facilities.

The main thing I made admission to this college is the overwhelming performance of faculty in this college and the palce where it locates. Advanced lab facilities and proper maintenance of labs are the key features I noticed there.

College management is truly helpful for students and they do all needful for needs of students.

Mechanical engineering lab is absent (3rd year), less space
