Because at that time there was 100 percentage placement for civil engineering. And the college is run by the government of Maharashtra and I got admission there. This college is very suitable for middle class and low middle class student coming from villages and poor background.

An Autonomous INSTITUTE with AICTE approved and one of eight government instute in Maharashtra. Good lab facilities, hostel and mess facilities, on average staff,good curriculum, library and many more facilities available there. On an average good government college for BE and BTech.

Government College of Engineering Karad was one of the great government college in Maharashtra established in 1960. One of the main reason to take admission in this college is that it is autonomous college and placement in this year is also great.I am Electrical student & I got placed in two companies one software and one core.

Overall the college is good but still many changes could be made to make it best

As its government college with automous and there are only eight government engineering colleges in Maharashtra and its very appreciable to get admission in this college. Due to the automous there is difference in syllabus than university syllabus. Teaching and placement are also average and there are further study can be done in same college like mtech after BE.Labs are also good due to availability of different instruments. Overall its good collge for engineering.

As Government College has less fees and Scholarship Also reputation of Academic which provides all over growth along with good placement. As I am belongs from middle class family only my father generat income from his job so it becomes important to me get such college where less fees and hostel,mess etc facilities available at reasonable cost. Along with that teachers and Academic History of Institute are important all of these things I got at Government College of engineering Karad so I join their and successful completed the course and get job from college Placement prior to completion of course.

Yes, it is good at times they are very strict when it comes to financial matters.

Positive remarks is that our college supports in every way such that those who want to go for higher studies there are gate classes and every year there is an personality development subject in which we study how to handle the when we go into the cooperate world.

In the research and development category, record of our college is not very good. So I would advice any student, looking for R&D opportunities, to not to take admission at our college.If that one case is taken out, then our college is awsome for anyone.
