Long college hours, which are hectic for students who travel long

Admission:

I had applied to many colleges around Mumbai through the cap round of CET, but got this college at the first round, and it was convenient for me to travel to Airoli. I also live in Mulund and related to admission process, it was quite easy. Just follow the instructions they have given already through WhatsApp group.

College staff is supportive and campus is moderate
Teaching staff is excellent and clear the doughts
Fest,sport , program are limited but good and college is affordable

College campus is small than expected but moderate as we consider Mumbai
Infrastructure and equipment are not good equipments don't work properly
College uses its own pages for experiments and assignment pages are limited for writing and xerox is costly in college

Datta meghe is moderate tier 3 college, i choose this college because it is near my home and my cousin also studied from this college it is good . I am trying for VIT Mumbai which my aim to get but cut off of this college is high. In datta meghe you can get addmission through jee, mht cet and management Cet cut off for computer branch is near to 92.5 percentile for general for caste it is low Most of the students get addmission through MHT cet in my college. Addmission process little bit complecate and time consuming staff for addmission is not well arranged.

REALITY OF Datta Meghe College of Engineering

DMCE is famous for the awesome teaching staff. As a current Second year student, i will approve that. The faculty here for every subject have many years of experience in teaching so they are great at teaching subjects.
Our college conducts various events and seminars through college committes which provide students extensive knowledge of real world and help in their character development.
DMCE has wide range of placements in every department. Almost 100+ companies are connected with this college for placements.

Dislikes

Management of DMCE college is not as good at all. That is a headache for students
Campus is not much big . You can't expect much is this terms
As this is a 3 tier college, internships are not provided by the college instead the student has to search himself for intership

Admission:

I got this college through Mhtcet exam, and yes I opted for other college too but the cutoff for branch i wanted was too high in other college so i had to take admission in DMCE. talking about the admission process you can take admission through 2 ways: Official goverment rounds or management rounds. Majority of students take admission from cap round which accepts both Mhtcet and JEE examination. 90% of students get admission by Mhtcet exam. Cutoff depends on the branch but it ranges from 50-95 percentile in cet exams. overall the admission process is not too easy neither too hard.

DMCE Airoli: A Balanced Mix of Learning, Opportunities, and Growth

Likes

The professors are knowledgeable and helpful, especially in IT and CS branches. They explain concepts well, and some offer great mentorship for projects and research work.
The college provides good placement for IT and CS students with companies like TCS, Capgemini and Infosys recruiting regularly.
The campus is clean equipped with labs, a library, and Wi-Fi. Being in Airoli it is easily accessible from Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai making daily commuting convenient for students.

Dislikes

While IT and CS students get good job opportunities core branches like mechanical and civil have fewer placements.
The 75% attendance rule is strictly enforced making it difficult for students who want to focus on internships, competitive exams or extracurricular activities alongside their academics.
The college does not have its own hostel so outstation students must arrange PG accommodations or rentals nearby which can be expensive and inconvenient at times.

Admission:

I chose Kathmandu College of Engineering Airoli over other options due to its location affordable fees and decent placements. I applied to other colleges but missed cut off due to high compensation the admission process at dmce is through mht-cet and JEE means with a cut off around 85 to 95 percentile for general category the process includes cap rounds, document verification and seat allotment making it systematic and straightforward for applicants.

We have 2 buildings and now they're building a new one

Number of lift is only 4 so many students need to wait

I chose this college because I wanted one that should not be far from my home. And my college is one of the top colleges in the harbor line, which makes it convincing to every student to choose this college.

The college has a nice library which has ample copies of books related to your course, and there's a badminton court for students to play
The faculty is well qualified and experienced
The girls to boys ratio is roughly 1:5 in my class

The college canteen is not really well maintained

I chose this college because it was the best shot at my MHCET percentile. I got a rejection from Pillai and SIES so I chose this college. This college usually admits students through MHCET but you can also get in through your JEE mains score

Infrastructure is moderate. The Senior faculty of my department gives a good guidance for Smart India Hackathon organized by government of India.
Ready to help when we have a doubt regarding publishing the research paper, or any other doubt from curriculum point of view.

Dislikes

Average package of the companies who hire for software engineering positions can be improved.
Very few companies in the count of 1-4 companies comes for Data Related Job Roles i.e. Data Analyst, Data Scientist, and Data Engineer. The companies count can be increased.

Admission:

I preferred this college bcoz the college is at a total distance of 35 km from my home when compared to the total distance of other Engineering colleges in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. During the College Option Form round, I applied to various colleges but, my MHTCET score did not satisfy the other engineering college's MHTCET cutoff score.

As I live in Ulhasnagar and the college near me don't have campus placement at all and no way to get the job from their and I have confirmed my admission form from watumal college in Ulhasnagar I have applied for small amount of colleges and half of them rejected and half of them are for good and it was an descent college to get in

The college has great faculty which are highly qualified and experienced.
The college conductes great extra curricular activities such as quizs, workshops,etc.
The college has great opportunities in term of internship and placement.

Dislikes

The college campus doesn't have any ground except built-in badminton court and all indoor courts
The college lecture time is too long which is not needed.
Though the college has all streams available it only has a single canteen.

Admission:

I actually applied for colleges such as vit, vjti ,terna,etc.For some colleges due to immense competition in the field I couldn't make there. As the college has great faculty, opportunity, activities were some factors I choose this college. MHT-CET exam is accepted with cutoff of 90-94 percentile. Also direct second year admission is also available for diploma students.
