DMCE Faculty

The faculty at Datta Meghe College of Engineering Airoli is described as experienced and highly qualified, with some members holding Ph.D. degrees. The college maintains a faculty-to-student ratio of approximately 1:20 to 1:30, ensuring accessibility and support for students. The faculty is generally supportive, approachable, and helpful in clearing doubts and providing guidance, especially in IT and CS departments. There are around 150 faculty members with qualifications ranging from BE, ME to Ph.D., and many have industry experience.

The curriculum follows Mumbai University's syllabus, with two internal assessments and two semester exams each year. While most faculty are dedicated and knowledgeable, there are some concerns about newly joined teachers lacking experience. The teaching quality is overall good, though some faculty rely heavily on slides, and the exams are considered moderately difficult.
