21 Jun, 2025 DMCE has extended the Online Pre-Registration deadline for UG Admission 2025 upto June 27, 2025. Aspirants must register online @mu.ac.in/admission and should also submit the college application form separately. The merit lists will be released at the institute level if seats remain vacant. Datta Meghe College of Engineering (DMCE), located in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, is affiliated with the University of Mumbai.The College conducts the admission procedure for various courses as per the issued guidelines of Directorate of Technical Education – Maharashtra State. The DMCE follows the reservation policies according to the regulations of Government of Maharashtra.

The admission to B.Tech is conducted through MHCET and JEE Main. The counseling is conducted by the college after the declaration of the results. The college gives a call to students on basis of merit list prepared using ranks. The admission to M.tech is conducted through GATE. Students need to fill the application form for each course. The medium of instruction for all courses at various levels is English. The university also makes it mandatory for the students to submit an undertaking, the format of which is given on the university website.

DMCE B.Tech Admission 2024

Datta Meghe College of Engineering (DMCE) offers Bachelor of Technology courses in six different branches of Engineering and Technology. The intake to the undergraduate programs is 120 for Civil Engineering, Electronics Engineering, and Computer Engineering whereas there are 60 seats in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Information Technology, Direct 2nd-year Information Technology and Direct 2nd-year Mechanical Engineering branches. The Civil Engineering program also admits 60 students in the second round of admissions. The Bachelor’s programs require the applicants to have a valid CET score or JEE Main Score

The university also enrolls students who hold a Diploma in the second year of Bachelors of Technology programs. Those who have completed a B.Sc. degree program in a respective or relevant branch, are also eligible to apply for lateral entry admissions. For the first year students of Engineering, it is compulsory to submit an undertaking for anti-ragging on a Rs.100/- stamp paper.

The B.Tech programs offered are of 4 years in duration. Candidates applying for admission must be an Indian. The students should check the eligibility before filling the application form. The table below gives the list of courses along with specialization and eligibility:

Students must appear for the entrance exam (MHCET or JEE Mains) and apply for the admission using online application form. The college would call the shortlisted candidates on basis of their respective scores in the entrance exam. This would be followed by allotment of seats at college. The students must take along all the original documents asked by the institute at the time of final admission.

DMCE M.Tech Admission 2024

The College offers M.Tech programs to interested students across four important domains. For post graduate programs, there are 18 seats in each of the branches. The applicants for the Master’s programs should have a valid GATE score.

These M.Tech programs are 2 years in duration. The students must check their eligibility before filling the application form. The table below enlists the course along with the specialization and eligibility.

DMCE Ph.D Admission 2024

The College issues notification inviting applications for its Ph.D. programs in Technology. The students interested in applying for Ph.D. must keep following facts in mind:

For filling up the application form for the doctoral programs, an applicant must pay an amount of Rs. 1000/- via Demand Draft drawn in favor of ‘The Principal, Datta Meghe College of Engineering, Airoli’.
The Department of Civil Engineering has also the Centre for research which undertakes students interested in pursuing research programs.
The university issues separate notifications for the availability of application forms for even and odd semesters.

REALITY OF Datta Meghe College of Engineering

Admission:

I got this college through Mhtcet exam, and yes I opted for other college too but the cutoff for branch i wanted was too high in other college so i had to take admission in DMCE. talking about the admission process you can take admission through 2 ways: Official goverment rounds or management rounds. Majority of students take admission from cap round which accepts both Mhtcet and JEE examination. 90% of students get admission by Mhtcet exam. Cutoff depends on the branch but it ranges from 50-95 percentile in cet exams. overall the admission process is not too easy neither too hard.

DMCE Airoli: A Balanced Mix of Learning, Opportunities, and Growth

Admission:

I chose Kathmandu College of Engineering Airoli over other options due to its location affordable fees and decent placements. I applied to other colleges but missed cut off due to high compensation the admission process at dmce is through mht-cet and JEE means with a cut off around 85 to 95 percentile for general category the process includes cap rounds, document verification and seat allotment making it systematic and straightforward for applicants.

So The Admission Process Is On The JEE MAINS And The MHT-CET Marks You Get The Admission In Computer Engineering, INFORMATION Technology Their Cutoffs Is Very High Of You Have 90 percentile Above You will Get The Admission I Choose This College For Less Traveling And This Is Good College For Civil Engineering And Computer Engineering So That's Why I Take Admission In Thsi College

I actually applied for colleges such as vit, vjti ,terna,etc.For some colleges due to immense competition in the field I couldn't make there. As the college has great faculty, opportunity, activities were some factors I choose this college. MHT-CET exam is accepted with cutoff of 90-94 percentile. Also direct second year admission is also available for diploma students.

i have applied for many ot the colleges like somaiya, vjti, dy patil but my percectile was no that good for those colleges thats why i choose datta meghe college and my travelling time also becomes less my admission process was they basically look for your cet and java percentile the candidatemust have passed class 12 with subjects like phy chem and maths for direct second yr admission candidate should have a diploma in enginnering or technology with a minimum of 45% admission process is step 1: apply for mht cet or jee main.step2: appear for the exam.step3:after the exam results ,participate in the centralized admission by the Directorate of technical education maharashtra. step4: for mht cet ,based on the rank and preferences the DTE college will allot seats in various eng collegs including datta meghe college step 5: after seat allotmnet candidates need to verify documents and pay the admission fees to cinfirm the seat
