Placement Experience:
BIT offers a 100 per cent placement and the highest package offered this year was 44 LPA from Amazon and 36 LPA from DE Shaw. The placements for core branches are superb. One can easily get placed here

Placement Experience:
2nd and 3rd years are for internship. You can apply for internships . The placement coordinator helps you out in this.
Placements begin from the 7th semester onwards.
In cse about 85 to 90 percent of students get placed in companies like Amazon, Samsung, Google, Microsoft, Wipro, TCS, etc.
In 2022 highest package is 44 LPA and avg is 10 LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose CSE. This is the branch where max of students get placed.
Here in my branch we have 45 students and there is a one to one interaction with the students because of low class strength.
Here professors are well qualified with a good sence of friendliness.The quality of teaching is also very nice.
We have 3 exams in 1 semester namely 1st mid sem, 2nd mid sem and end sem.More than 90% of students from all brances pass the exams.Syllabus is average and with proper hardwork it is easy to qualify these exams.

From 7 semester students are eligible for placements.
Companies visited like Amazon, Vedanta, tcs, tcs ninja, jindal, adani, byjus etc
Highest package is about 27 lakh and lowest package is 3-4 lakh and average package is 6 lakh

From 6th semester students are eligible for the placements. There are many companies visited there like amazon, tata, Vedanta, jindal many more. Highest package is about 15 lakh and average package is about 7-8 lakh and lowest package is bout 3.5 lakh.

The students of the 6th semester are eligible for the campus selection companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Infosys, Wipro and also Google Come to the campus for selection of students from their respective branches and offer them good jobs with very good packages.
The highest package here has gone up to 39lakh per annum and the average package was offered of 8-9 lakh per annum and the profiles were senior web or app developer, software engineer, data analysts and many more, as the college has a good name so near about 95 percent of the students here get campus placement before their last semester exams.
My plans were to get a higher degree like M.tech or MBA after I complete my B.tech in this college.

From what I’ve heard from my friend who is currently a student of BIT Sindri, there is ample time for students to prepare for exams like UPSC, GATE, etc.
- The area of the campus is about 400 acres. BIT Sindri is a good engineering college and is located in the town of Sindri which is 25km from the city of Dhanbad.
- BIT Sindri has a total of 26 hostels for boys and girls. The different departments of the college are allotted their own buildings for their classes and activities.
- There is an auditorium on the campus. There have been some reports of ragging, though, in the first and second years.
- The best departments in the institute by far are mining and metal because of good placements.
- Lately, a number of good companies are visiting the campus so the statistics of placements are improving by the day. The average CTC has been recorded to be 4.51 LPA while the highest salary is 10.12 LPA.
The institute also holds an enviable rank amongst other engineering institutes of Jharkhand.
