birsa institute of technology sindri.

Likes

lower fee structure and higher return you get.
a lot of cultural clubs and societies where you can spend your free time
mess food is a little good as compared to other colleges

Dislikes

infrastructure of the college is to old .
a lot of forest area which we feel is horrible.
there is no open market or super market around.

Placement Experience:

it is very good that u get a good return according to the low investment you would have an oppertunity to take a job of at least 6 lacks per year after investing 2-3 lack in all four years.about 60%of students get placed

Campus placement of the college is very good especially for the course branches which is approx 95%. There are many companies like Vedanta, Tata Steel, JSW Steels , TCS, and many more companies about 60 companies visited the campus previous year.

Likes

In our college bit sindri Dhanbad I liked the campus.
I like the sports facilities there and many sports like cricket etc.
I like the infrastructure of our building.

Dislikes

In our college bit sindri Dhanbad I dislike the beachviour of senior.
I dislike the many of club in our college.
I dislike the mess food of our college there is not good quality food provided.

Placement Experience:

In our college Students are eligible for internship in semester 6 and for placement final year. Many companies are visiting in our college . And placement percentage of our college is approximately 85 percentages.

For first year In this we not use tigers road they use only murga road
In the first year centen was not allowed only senior visit their
In for year students doesn't sit in library for reading purpose

In bit sindri there was good ratio of placement ratio all most all people got placed in diversity of company tata Infosys samsong and many mass requeting company the height package was offer by company is around fifty thousand and profile package was seventhousand around

Likes

Strong alumni network. Bit has biggest and strongest alumni network than any other college
Biggest college campus to raom and explore
Placement are good as per the investment or fee you paid

Dislikes

Old buildings are here and the hostel are old
Location is far away from the main city.
Fests are not organised on the regular basis

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester you are eligible for placement. All tops companies visited and above 100 companies visited our campus and no. Of offer is about 950. Highest package is 50lpa and average is 6lpa. 80 percent student placed.

Placement Experience:

Due to the recession going on and the covid pandemic,Placements were affected a bit but at a level the avg. placement is decent 3-4lpa.Here,core branches get more opportunities and good placements than the circuital branches like CS,IT,ECE.

Decent enough

Likes

The clean campus of our college is so good.
Our mess food is so tasty and affordable.
We don't have to go market for stationary it is available in aur main gate only.

Dislikes

There is some senior junior things in our college.
There is electricity problem specially during exam.
Water filter of hostel is not in condition.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester student can give the interview for campus placement. There are many companies like tata steel, vedanta, itc, etc are visited in our campus. There are certain criteria for companies including which the cgpa matters. Approx 8.5 cgpa have to score. My plans is to get a decent placement by our college.

Likes

The environment of the campus is so greeny.
The pollution free environment as it is separated from the main district.
The supportive behaviour of the faculty and the seniors are so good

Dislikes

It is separated by the main city so we have to face many difficult for the availability of any product.
There is no shop near the hostel and for any refreshment we need to travel much distance.
There don't exist some fest as it's main focus is only on education

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester the students are eligible for placement and before that they can also apply for off campus placement. About 50 companies come for the intake and about 1-2 offers are made to each student and the highest package offered is 50LPA and average is 6.5LPA and about 90% students get placed every year. My plan is to get a good placements

THE TRUTH

Likes

The environment is good there is greenary all around the professors are well educated।
The seniors are very cooperative they guide us and arrange events for us
The practical labs and workshops are well maintained

Dislikes

There are not that many cafes and canteens here and there should have been.
There are coal mines outside which makes the place polluted
The sports facilities should improve and the sports event should be organized more frequently

Placement Experience:

The campus placement starts from the 3rd year itself , many renowned companies visit our college like TCS , Vedanta, Tata Steel , JSW , adani group , Infosys, Aditya birla group , Tata power , Qspider etc average package of the college is 7.5 lpa and highest package is 55 lpa around 98 percentage student gets placed . After completion of my degree I'll go for higher studies

Likes

The placements in the college especially for the core branch is really good
The environment and the hostels are above my expectations
The faculty members are highly qualified

Dislikes

Lack of wifi in our college is one of the problem
Some equipments of lab don't work properly
Auditorium is too small and conjusted many chairs are at bad condition

Placement Experience:

Many good companies come during placement season like tcs lnt vedanta Aditya Birla jindel power and many more and giving about average seven to eight lakh.The highest package last year was forty four lakh and talking about mining about twenty two student were placed in vedanta last year.After my degree I would like to have a job in my pocket.

From what I’ve heard from my friend who is currently a student of BIT Sindri, there is ample time for students to prepare for exams like UPSC, GATE, etc.

The area of the campus is about 400 acres. BIT Sindri is a good engineering college and is located in the town of Sindri which is 25km from the city of Dhanbad.
BIT Sindri has a total of 26 hostels for boys and girls. The different departments of the college are allotted their own buildings for their classes and activities.
There is an auditorium on the campus. There have been some reports of ragging, though, in the first and second years.
The best departments in the institute by far are mining and metal because of good placements.
Lately, a number of good companies are visiting the campus so the statistics of placements are improving by the day. The average CTC has been recorded to be 4.51 LPA while the highest salary is 10.12 LPA.

The institute also holds an enviable rank amongst other engineering institutes of Jharkhand.
