Are there placement training programs for students?

BIT Meerut provides placement training programs in depth to equip students with recruitment drives and industry requirements. Regular sessions in the Training and Placement Cell are held on aptitude development, logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude, and communication skills. The Training and Placement Cell works in coordination with several companies, startups, and industry partners to arrange internships, primarily for pre-final year students. These internships usually run for 68 weeks during the summer vacation, and internships are provided in areas of interest to students in their major fields, including software development, core engineering, management, or pharmacy sciences. In most instances, internships translate into pre-placement offers (PPOs), which increase students' likelihood of employment on a full-time basis upon graduation.

Placement support was quite good. Almost every company visited our campus online or offline for the placement of students. Nearly 85-90% students was placed from 23 batch. Also the placement department is quite supporting and caring towards students.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the seventh semester of their engineering. Many companies like tcs, Wipro, Accenture, cognizant, appinventive, Capgemini and Grapecity visited our college for placement almost 85-90% students were placed. The highest package offered was 6.5 lpa and average package was 3.2 lpa. The percentage of students placed were around 90%.

A overall experience of college

The placement is very good in our college...many different companies visit our college..the average package of our college is 3 lakh and the highest package of our college is 36 lakh..but many students can't get job..they are unemployed still.. it's based on our skills

Good and more bad college experience

Placement are not great even in terms of placement college have not a very good reslut nost of thr students are unemployed after passing out and the average package is 3 lakh and i didn't have any hope from getting a placement form this college

Dislikes

Poor placement because low companies visits.

There are Not many companies that visit our Campus. 4th year students are eligible for applying in placement. Companies like TCS , Infosys , Wipro , etc visits our campus but the placement rate is low around 5-6 students get selected from every 10 to 15 group.

An Average college.

About placements ,after 6th semester the student become eligible for sitting in the campus drives held for placements. Every year companies like TCS, wipro, infosys etc visits the campus and hire worthy students. The average package in the college is about 4 to 4.5 lacks following by the highest package of whooping 26 lacks. Average of 70-80 percent of students get placed every year I'm also going for the job after my graduation.

From 7th semester onwards students are eligible for the placements ,However are less opportunites of placement in good organisation , probably around 20-30 students get placed in decent organisation , number of comapany's visting the organisation are around 10 I got placed from the collge also however it was not of good salary , so when out to look for more opportunities

In out batch, over 40 students get placed. Many companies will come for placements, and of course, getting a job is an individual thing. Many of my friends get placed in good companies like TCS, wipro, and CTS. We can easily crack the interview.

There's a department called CADC which works only for our placements. And there were so many opportunities forever last year students. If you're in the last year of any course you're in then you're eligible for sitting on the placements. I think 70-75% is the ratio is the placement ratio. My plan after that is to work in a dynamic IT company.
