SVNIRTAR Course Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

Swami Vivekanand National Institute of Rehabilitation Training and Research (SVNIRTAR) offers the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy program, recognized as one of the leading institutions in rehabilitation sciences in India and Asia. Admission to this program requires candidates to clear the Common Entrance Test (CET), conducted nationally for several allied health courses across four institutions, including NILD, NIEPMD, and others. To be eligible, candidates must have completed their 12th standard with a minimum aggregate of 50% and should have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.

The CET encompasses subjects similar to those in NEET, like Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Applicants are ranked based on their CET performance, and admissions are granted according to rank during a multi-phase counseling process, including a mop-up round if seats remain. The course offerings following CET include BPT, BOT, BASLP, and BPO, depending on ranks. For general category students, a CET rank between 1-500 increases the likelihood of securing preferable courses like BOT or BPT in initial counseling; SC/ST candidates may secure seats up to rank 1500.

SVNIRTAR offers no EWS quota, unlike some other participating institutions. Admission involves document verification and paying a seat confirmation fee, after which candidates receive a call letter for enrollment.
