The faculties members are very supportive, sometimes you feel they are very strict but along with time it becomes habitual and enjoyable
The classroom, departments are well good and well equipped with the apparatus and instruments

Dislikes

The classroom doesn't have a sound and mic system which will irritate you alot initially. Try to buy your sound system for class by contribution from your batchments
Lecture are being held in English and bengali. Sometimes completely bengali

For getting an admission first you have to appear in NEET UG Exam . And after that you can appear in the counselling conducted by WBMCC or the MCC . The counselling is quite long and sometimes it feels irritating as it's rescheduling again and again.

Actually I got this college based on merit through the rank I scored in neet ug 2024 , and also I didn't disappoint about my college, it's one of the best , the admission process is held by medical councelling board of West Bengal and the procedure is perfect

Likes

College classrooms are good. Smart classes are available.
Faculties are also very well educated and are good doctors.

Dislikes

Campus is too small and there is no playground for students.
Faculties are also busy in their personal problems rather than to solve the problem of students.

Admission:

For taking admission in MBBS one have to clear the neet exam has been conducted by NTA. The exam is very tough and for the application students must have PCB subject combination in 12th. The application form price is near about 2000 for general category students.

Faculties are so good and experienced, they are very much friendly and always ready to help students.
In final year of MBBS, some PGT seniors are taking our classes which are mind blowing because they are recently learning the concepts so they are very much enthusiastic to teach us.
Hostel fees are negligible, and rooms are quit good if you maintain your room it feels like homely environment, also campus is small but beautiful

Dislikes

First of all they need to spend money on maintenance, campus is good but suffered from lack of maintainance. Buildings need to clean and colour on regular basis.
Floor of the hostel is dirty, things are here and there, many dogs are roaming in corridor always
Hospital wards are not clean, specially medicine and surgery ward, there is so much patient load so its obvious that it could be dirty spontaneously, but thay can maintain which they don’t

Admission:

To get admission to Midnapore medical college you have to crack NEET. Cut off this college is around 30000 all India rank for general category students in NEET. Admission fee 7000. The admission process needs to be digitalization.

College campus is highly secured with 24×7 emergency services.

The campus buildings requires much more renovation.
The auditorium should be much more spacious and the building class rooms should be fully centralised air conditioned.
The sports and cultural activities should be motivated and enthusiastic regarding the events and active participation.

Admission:

For taking admission in any Government medical College in MBBS course you have to clear the NEET-UG entrance exam after completing your class 12th boards. The entrance exam occur every year in the month of May. There are only 45 thousand government seats all over India which increases every year by some amount with the immense increase in the candidates taking the exam. For different categories the cut off varies, for unreserved candidates you have to get an AIR within 25 thousand.

Likes

Some Anatomy faculties are really good . Topics are taught well
Physiology faculties are also good . Topics are taught well
It is a Ragging free campus . It becomes friendly for the students. Seniors are helpful

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not so good . A lot of improvement is required
Acs do not work properly. Auditorium is very small. Cannot accomodate 200 students of every batch
The college bathrooms are not so hygienic

Admission:

Candidate should be 12th Passed with PCB. Then he or she is eligible for the NEET Examination Application form, application fees ,application dates everything will be provided in NMC website. NEET is conducted once in a year normally in the first week of May. Paper level remains moderate but competition is very high. NCERT is very important book for this examination especially for Biology and Chemistry. For all the subjects understanding each and every topic is very important. With only mugging up you will not be able to answer the tricky questions. Attempting multiple number of mock tests periodically is very much important. It will help you to keep a track of your preparation and also help you improve your weak areas. Patience, hard but smart work , dedication is necessary for NEET .

I am very happy and grateful for choosing this course and also a proud student of Midnapore Medical College and Hospital.

Likes

I like the environment here. College is situated at a very local area.
Our library is very good place for study.
College faculty is very good. They are very helpful to us.

Dislikes

College washroom is very unhygienic, dirty, need to clean in every week.
We do not have any playground for us after college ends
Lecture theatre is not smart, no digital board or projecter is there

Admission:

I gave Neet exam . Examination application available in online mode. For general cutt of -585/720. Eligibility of this course is have to be 10 +2 qualified with Physics, Chemistry, Biology subject. This exam happen once in a year. Exam level is difficult. Whole Admission process should be in online mode.

Admission Process was offline but registration was online We have to clear NEET UG entrance exam Cut off is scoring above 590/720 Both online and offline coaching are available to clear the exam It requires a lot of dedication and hardwork to clear it
