GKMC M.Ch (Urology) Fees
The M.Ch (Urology) programme at GKMC is a government-funded course with very nominal fees. For the Higher Speciality category, the tuition fee is Rs. 20,000 per year and the special fee is Rs. 10,000 per year (applicable for DM/M.Ch courses). Additional one-time charges include caution money deposit, library fees, university registration fees, and miscellaneous fees. The total course fee for 3 years is approximately Rs. 1,01,950, making it one of the most affordable super-specialty surgical programmes in India.

- Caution money deposit of Rs. 2,000 is refundable at the time of course completion.
- SC/ST candidates are exempted from paying tuition fees.
- Hostel facility is available on campus. Hostel charges: Single room - Rs. 40/month; Double room - Rs. 25/month per student (nominal government rates). Hostel is not mandatory.
- Students receive a monthly stipend from the Tamil Nadu government: 1st Year - Rs. 54,025/month; 2nd Year - Rs. 55,149/month; 3rd Year - Rs. 56,275/month (as per 2026-27 government notification).
