Ans. MNIT Jaipur CSE branch has the best placement records among other branches. Last year maximum number of students around 98 were placed from the CSE branch alone. The figures keep rising.  Although the institute does not release any official data, I asked a friend at MNIT Jaipur for the same. As per the information I got from him, Almost 98 students got placed  The highest salary package offered by Apple was INR 64 LPA.  The lowest salary package offered was INR 6.75 LPA.  Top recruiting companies were Apple, Amazon, Flipkart, Adobe, Deloitte, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, etc Hope you get a clear idea of the placement scenario of the CSE branch at MNIT Jaipur.Read more

I would like to suggest MNIT Jaipur.  CSE at MNIT Jaipur is one of the finest when compared with all the NITs. The faculty is good and the facilities are amazing, in terms of labs, connectivity, etc. One can really expect steeper increases in placements and their packages in the coming years. It is great in terms of crowd diversity. Now let us take a look at NIT Calicut: NIT Calicut is the better-ranked college when it comes to NITs. It is better reputed when it comes to classroom teaching and academic details. Extra-Curricular activities are also encouraged a lot. There’s ample free time to engage in clubs. Coming to CSE, the placements of Calicut are much better than NIT Jaipur as well. Ans. Both the colleges are well-renowned. But there are certain things I would like to bring to your notice- As per college rankings, MNNIT is the top NIT in North India. It witnesses very good placements in IT/CSE. The average package for IT is almost at par with that for CSE. This year, the average package was around 24 LPA for IT and 27 LPA for CSE. The CSE students at MNIT Jaipur receive comparatively way lower packages.  At MNNIT, CS, and IT students have the same curriculum till 2nd year. Even after the 2nd year, only 1 or 2 subjects are different. The coding culture is great, and coders perform really well on various platforms like CodeChef, HackerEarth, Hackerrank, etc.  I would recommend you choose IT at MNNIT Allahabad. Read more

Ans. I researched on both the colleges, and here is my answer to your query- MNNIT Allahabad is far better then MNIT Jaipur for Electrical Engineering. MNNIT has better placements and academics for Electrical branch.  MNIT is situated in the middle of the city, so you can easily join coaching classes for GATE, ESE, and other competitive exams. But then, many students from MNNIT clear GATE, IES, Civil Services, etc. because of its academic friendly environment. Both the colleges perform equally well in rankings.  I would recommend you join MNNIT Allahabad for your Electrical degree. Read more

Ans. There are two options available to you. Choose between IIIT Jabalpur and NIT Raipur for CSE. Why choose NIT Raipur? As of now, the placement scenario is favorable. Seniors would provide you with sound advice. There is a greater emphasis on practical hands-on experience among peers. The highest salary package offered to three students was 32.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 6 LPA. You'd almost certainly get a job. NIT Raipur, why not? If you want to pursue higher education, NIT Raipur is a no-go. There are few opportunities for research. The brand name NIT does not help with the GRE. Higher education is entirely theoretical. Peers get together and must put in extra effort to gain hands-on experience. The syllabus is not focused on the current business world. Why choose IIIT Jabalpur? It would teach you CSE from the first year, unlike other NITs, which require you to study common subjects like chemical, civil, and mechanical engineering. The placement scenario is nearly identical to that of NIT Raipur. However, it will improve as IIIT Jabalpur improves. There will be far more research opportunities than at NIT Raipur. The brand name may be beneficial for the GRE. The IIIT experience is more enriching than the NIT experience. IIIT Jabalpur has a competitive coding culture. Why not IIIT Jamshedpur? Ans. The choice of the branch is more important than choosing the institute because it determines and shapes your career. If you are interested in working in a PSU or have an interest in Electronics, choose ECE but if you have no such inclinations choose CS, the most diverse field. There are two main differences between IIITs and NITs IIITs are relatively new and may not have a very extensive alumni network while NITs are aged old and have an elaborate network. NITs provide diverse specialization in various fields while IIITs only focus on Computer Science education.  Based on the placement scenario and the academics, here is the preference order I would suggest you follow while making your choice NIT Jalandhar CSE>IIIT Jabalpur CSE>NIT Raipur CSE>NIT Kurukshetra ECE>NIT Hamirpur ECE> NIT Jamshedpur ECE It's important to note that this preference order is not based on any official data and is based on my own opinion only.Read more

Ans. ICE at NIT Jalandhar is one of the most reputed branches in the terms of placements as well as in the aspect of GATE. I have a friend in the 2018 ICE batch at NIT Jalandhar. In 2018, the GATE IN topper was from the ICE branch at NIT Jalandhar. Also, nine students of ICE were Under 100 in GATE 2018. Faculty: The faculties are very good, supportive, and dedicated. Campus life: The campus life is very happening. Various cultural and technical events are being organized for the students. If interested you can join the Robotics club and DAKSH (Solar car manufacturing team). The labs and lecture halls are air-conditioned and well equipped with smart boards and other facilities. Placements: According to the recent highlights, the placement statistics of the institute are as follows.
