I chose this school because it had the program that I wanted to take. It also is in the city that I live in and therefore it is cheaper, so I don't have to move away. It's a good location because it is downtown and there are lots of things to do.

I opted for this college because the campus is downtown and surrounded by many things and places for me to spend my time. I commute to school, therefore, this was important to me. Also, this school had my program and the other I applied to did not.

Close to home and I wanted to go into a program where there was a minimal course load for any sciences courses. I am also able to save money and stay at home and live with my parents and not cook for myself

My program (French to English translation) is very unique and the university, of Ottawa's school of translation and interpretation within its faculty of arts, was one of the only schools in the province that offered it.

Ottawa is the capital city and where Parliament is, though it was a good idea to study politics and make connections in the heart of where it all happens. Also a good chance to learn French in a bilingual city

As I'm studying a field that is constantly changing under our feet, I opted for the University of Ottawa for its unique experience in the capital city of Canada. Additionally, I like the city for its small-town feels but big city infrastructure.

Close to home, downtown, in the capital. Ranked #7 for nursing in Canada & has access to multiple placement locations. Friendly people and close to the Byward market! Also close to everything in Ottawa!

I'm from a smaller town and the fact that Toronto was a huge city is very intimidating while I heard that Ottawa had the feel of a smaller city while having lots to do in it. Plus having the university in downtown sounds like an accessible campus.

I chose the University of Ottawa because of the program and the athletes. Not to mention the city is fantastic and all the people are very welcoming. It's a great atmosphere to be in and what they could offer me ultimately caught my attention.

I chose this school because they had preferential fees for taking the french stream and it being in Ottawa also helped. Being bilingual myself, being in a school that breathes such value appealed to me.
