- Best part about university was beautiful campus and kindest teachers.
Placement
- Everyone in my batch found a job pretty quickly, mostly through internships. I got my hotel job that way, and some classmates got jobs in Whistler after their internships.
- The university also has a job portal and on-campus jobs, but you have to actually go for it; if you don’t apply, you won’t get anything.
- I didn’t use accommodation facilities, so I am not sure about that.
Placement
I don’t have any idea about this. But the course I’m doing is really great for the future as it brings a lot of opportunities for me.
This university offers many things like a good education, various activities, and a beautiful location. It’s average. The vibe is great but sometimes it feels like a lot of discrimination.
Placement
It is unlikely to get a university placement but fourth year courses gives an opportunity of networking with businesses and it’s really helpful.
CapU has given me a lot of opportunities to work and analyze different business sectors. Sometimes those challenging courses are the most fun because it triggers the critical thinking. CapU is the best.

- I chose Capilano University to pursue higher education on a more practical level as well as to enhance my professional and personal growth. Also, I wanted to have the opportunity to interact with people from around the globe.
- There are many things that I would like to state about he University. Firstly and most importantly, Capilano University instilled practical experience in terms of education as well as personal growth. The university provided a great platform to have the exposure to practical learning wherein it teaches you how to deal with corporate of real business life experience. It provided the opportunity to interact with people from around the globe. That teaches one to learn about each other's cultures and their experiences as well.

- There was nothing which I could state about disliking Capilano University because the university provided with a lot of opportunities. It not only provided education in the simplest and most exciting way but it also gave a platform to socialize within the university in the best possible way where you can enjoy as well as learn.
Placement
The post study placement/ research opportunities of the NABU program are good. The professors assist the students in every way required.
My overall experience has been "wow". People may think this is exaggeration, but honestly advising and suggesting, it is the best institute/university one could pursue their education.

- It had everything to offer. My program in hospitality had some great courses that I wanted to study and I believed they would help me to excel in the industry.
- Capilano University is beautiful and is at a very serene location. It has many schools offering alot of different courses, be it Science, Business or Arts. Other then studies, the university has a lot to offer in terms of co curricular, student unions, sports.
Dislikes
- I liked everything about it. There was nothing as such I disliked, because academics and extra curriculars are given equal standards making it an all rounder space for the students. Great exposure and great faculty made the entire journey amazing.
Placement
We had job fairs on campus, however I did not attend them as I secured a permanent position at my part time work.
Overall, my experience at Capilano University was great. The fellow students, faculties, student union members, everyone was so welcoming. It was a great journey and I learnt a lot and spent many fun times there.
Placement
100 percent placements can be expected if you maintain your gpa decently . Shown in previous years with great alumnis working across all feilds
Capilano University is a top ranked Public University which is best part because it ticks all ypur aspirations of work permit to further PR, secondly the program NABU Applied gives you a co-op visa thats basically you will have 1 year of classes and 2nd year full time internship/job. Which again helps you gain points fot PGWP of 3 year . So, best program with all maximum benifit a international student might require to fulfill his aspirations.
Placement
As mentioned above there were no placements and limited/irrelevant job opportunities at Capilano University. The only assistance came from taking a film lighting course where the film union helped enrolled students join the union quicker upon completion.
Limited amount of film schools in Western Canada. Only about 4 in particularly in Vancouver where the film industry is most prevalent. Cheapest tuition (still very expensive) of all of the options available. The bonus was that the program included its own equipment and studio which allowed everyone to work on projects locally.
Placement
I don?t have much insight on this. I don?t know about any visiting companies, how many students get jobs after they graduate or job roles offered. Most students do transfer to another school after attending this one, though.
The university is Close to home, the admission process involves writing about volunteer and work experiences, extra-curricular activities. I had to write 2 essays. I graduated high school with an average above 95%. This was the only school I applied to as I knew I would get in and I planned to transfer out after a year or two.
Placement
Throughout campus, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved. I have gotten involved with many activities, even working a part-time position as a Student Ambassador. Since the university is growing rapidly, there is more and more promotion of opportunities to get involved.
In my case, I chose Capilano University to get transfer credits towards another institution since I have heard good things about their transfer program to other British Columbia universities, colleges.
