• Internal assessment and project work marks are carried forward from your ICSE 2026 main exam scores. These are not re-evaluated.

What Happens to Your Marks After the Improvement Exam?

Your original ICSE 2026 mark sheet is not cancelled. After the improvement exam, CISCE issues a revised mark sheet. The better of the two scores is recorded for each subject you re-appeared in.

• If the improved theory score produces a higher combined total, the revised mark sheet reflects the new marks for that subject.
• If the improved theory score produces a lower or equal total, the original marks from the main exam are retained. You cannot score lower overall by appearing in the improvement exam.
• The revised mark sheet may note the year of the improvement attempt alongside the original year of passing.
• Many colleges and universities ask for both the original and the revised mark sheets during admissions; keep both copies safely.

Your pass status from the ICSE 2026 main exam is not affected by the improvement attempt. The improvement examination only gives you a chance to raise your scores, not risk them.
