How to Register for NMAT 2026 on mba.com

The complete NMAT 2026 application happens on mba.com. The process takes around 20–30 minutes if you have all documents and your payment method ready.

Step 1: Create Your NMAT Account on mba.com

1. Visit mba.com/exams/nmat and click Create your NMAT Account.
2. Enter a valid email address and set a password. Check your inbox — including your spam folder — for the verification email and confirm your account.
3. Returning users who already have an mba.com or GMAC account: click Sign In. You do not need a new account for the 2026 cycle.

Step 2: Complete Your Profile in Manage NMAT Profile

1. Fill in your full legal name and date of birth exactly as they appear on your government-issued photo ID — any mismatch will be flagged at the test centre.
2. Add your contact details: mobile number and current address.
3. Enter your academic background: graduation degree, university, year of completion, and percentage or CGPA.
4. Add work experience if required by your target programme.
5. Save each section before proceeding.

Step 3: Complete the Application Form on the Candidate Dashboard

1. Log in to your Candidate Dashboard and click Complete the application form.
2. Select up to 5 B-schools to receive your score reports — these 5 are included in the registration fee at no extra cost. Additional reports cost INR 400 + taxes each.
3. Upload a recent photograph taken within the last 6 months in JPEG format. The photo must resemble you and match the photo on your government ID.

Step 4: Pay the Registration Fee

1. Proceed to payment from your dashboard.
2. Pay INR 3,000 + applicable taxes using Visa, MasterCard, American Express, a debit card, internet banking, or Diners Club.
3. Your registration confirmation will be sent to your registered email address immediately after payment.

NMAT 2026 Registration Fee, Retake and Reschedule Charges

NMAT allows up to three attempts per testing cycle (July 1–June 30). Each attempt — including retakes — costs the same flat fee. A separate reschedule charge applies if you change your exam appointment.

All fees are non-refundable once payment is confirmed. To register for a retake, log in to your Candidate Dashboard after your previous attempt, select the retake option, book a new slot (minimum 7-day gap after your last attempt), and pay the fee. GMAC reports the best score from all your attempts to the schools you selected.

How to Schedule Your NMAT 2026 Exam Slot

NMAT is a computer-based test delivered at Pearson VUE test centres across India. Slots are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis — schedule as soon as you complete payment to get your preferred city, date, and time.

2. Select At Test Centre as your exam mode.
3. Choose your preferred country, city, and Pearson VUE test centre from the available list.
4. Select your preferred exam date and time slot from the calendar — the expected exam window is November 5 to December 19, 2026.
5. Confirm the booking. A scheduling confirmation email is sent to your registered email address immediately.
6. Download your admit card from the Candidate Dashboard 7 days before your exam date.

If you need to change your slot, you can reschedule via your mba.com dashboard for a fee of INR 1,200 + taxes. NMAT has no negative marking — you see a score preview immediately after completing the test, and the official scorecard is available for download within 48 hours.
