NMAT 2026 Registration Window

NMAT 2026 registration opens on August 1, 2026 and closes on October 10, 2026. Students must register at the official NMAT by GMAC portal to schedule their preferred exam slot within the testing window. The registration process is fully online and involves the following steps.

1. Visit mba.com/exams/nmat and log in to or create your GMAC account.
2. Fill in personal and academic details in the application form.
3. Upload a valid photo ID and a recent passport-size photograph.
4. Select up to five B-schools to receive your NMAT 2026 score free of charge.
5. Pay the registration fee online via net banking, credit card or debit card.
6. Schedule your exam slot by choosing a preferred date, time and test centre or online proctored option.

Students who wish to retake NMAT 2026 must register separately for each additional attempt. Each retake costs Rs 3,000 plus applicable taxes. Rescheduling an existing slot is available for Rs 1,200 plus taxes.

NMAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Students need a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognised university to apply for NMAT 2026. There is no upper age limit and no mandatory work experience requirement.

Students in their final year of undergraduate studies can apply for NMAT 2026. They must complete their degree before the commencement of the admission process at the B-school they are applying to.

NMAT 2026 Fee Structure

The NMAT 2026 registration fee is Rs 3,000 plus applicable taxes for the first attempt. Additional fees apply for retakes, extra score reports and rescheduling.

Score reports for up to five B-schools are included in the base registration fee. You can add more colleges at Rs 400 plus taxes per institution either at registration or later through your GMAC account.

NMAT 2026 Exam Pattern

NMAT 2026 is a 120-minute computer-adaptive test with 108 questions across three sections and no negative marking. You can choose the order in which you attempt each section. Every correct answer carries 3 marks with no penalty for wrong responses.

The computer-adaptive format adjusts question difficulty based on your responses during the test. An unofficial score preview is available immediately after you finish and the official scorecard is released within 48 hours. NMAT 2026 is available at over 70 test centres across India and in an online proctored format giving you full flexibility over test location and timing.
