What are your roles and responsibilities toward the students? 

My primary roles and responsibilities revolve around ensuring the students' overall growth and success. I strive to provide quality education by overseeing curriculum design, faculty training, and academic resources. I actively collaborate with industry partners to facilitate placements and internship opportunities, preparing students for promising careers. Moreover, I focus on providing the best facilities, including well-equipped labs and libraries, to enhance their learning experience. Through regular interactions, mentoring, and guidance, I am committed to creating a nurturing environment that empowers students to excel academically and professionally.

How do you establish healthy relations with the students and fellow faculty? 

I believe in establishing healthy relationships with students and fellow faculty through regular and open communication. I maintain frequent interactions with students, providing them with academic guidance, addressing their concerns, and recognizing their achievements. Additionally, I regularly communicate with their parents to keep them informed about their progress and address any parental concerns. Moreover, I encourage open dialogue among fellow faculty members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. By prioritizing communication and approachability, I aim to create a positive and harmonious atmosphere that enhances student learning and faculty cooperation.

How do you introduce a practical and industry-oriented approach towards subjects? 

I introduce a practical and industry-oriented approach to subjects by actively seeking and providing the best internship opportunities for students, especially in emerging fields like machine learning. These internships provide students with hands-on experience and exposure to real-world projects, enabling them to apply their theoretical knowledge in practical settings. By collaborating with industry partners and incorporating their feedback into our curriculum, we ensure that our students are equipped with the relevant skills and experience to excel in the competitive job market and make valuable contributions to the industry.

What extracurricular activities are organized in college to enhance the skills of the students? 

We organize several extracurricular activities to enhance the skills of our students. We arrange fun and learning activities that promote creativity, teamwork, and leadership. Our annual symposium provides a platform for students to showcase their technical expertise and innovative projects. We also celebrate Sports Day, encouraging students to participate in sports and fostering a spirit of healthy competition and sportsmanship. These extracurricular activities complement their academic learning, promoting holistic development and a well-rounded personality among our students.

Which challenges are you facing to uplift the quality of education of your department? 

One of the major challenges is the lack of proper software and technology infrastructure, which hinders practical exposure and hands-on training for students. Additionally, irregular student attendance poses a challenge to maintaining a consistent learning environment and academic progress. We are actively working to overcome these challenges by seeking funding for improved software resources and implementing measures to promote better attendance and student engagement.

What are the approaches you bring in apart from curriculum to teach students? 

To achieve this, we conduct various approaches, such as professional visits and expert lectures, which expose students to real-world scenarios and insights from industry experts. Seminars and workshops are organized to facilitate discussions on emerging technologies and trends. We arrange internships and industrial visits to offer practical exposure and industry integration. Alumnae Talk sessions provide valuable career guidance and inspiration. Additionally, hands-on projects are encouraged to foster problem-solving and critical thinking skills. These approaches complement the curriculum, ensuring students receive a well-rounded and industry-relevant education.
