Annual and One-Time Academic Charges

Thanjavur BTech, integrated MTech, MTech, law, MBA, MCA and optometry have ₹1,000 a year for sports and unit tests, ₹10,000 once for development, and ₹6,000 at admission for special, registration and medical-exam charges. The same payments apply to Kumbakonam BTech and the Chennai programmes below.

SASTRA Online BCA tuition is ₹25,000 per semester, plus ₹1,000 once for admission. Examinations are charged per paper and convocation is ₹1,500. Online MSc Data Science is ₹60,000 per semester, with a reduced full-course fee of ₹1.60 lakh specifically for the July 2026 batch.

Hostel and Mess Fees at Thanjavur

Hostel room fees range from ₹16,000 to ₹30,000 a year for non-AC accommodation and ₹55,000 to ₹90,000 for AC, depending on sharing and attached bathroom facilities. First-year students receive shared rooms. Food is charged at actual use, estimated at about ₹5,000 a month in 2026.
