- Opportunities to work within the university
- The various sports and clubs it offered
- Stress-free academic syllabus
Dislikes
- Distance from a big city is quite high
- Unavailability of international groceries in the town
- Typical college town - only active during semesters and dead in breaks
- Used Telegram and found people starting similar courses around the same semester, got in touch with them and took student housing for the first two semesters.
- About $800, laundry, sewer, trash, wifi were taken care of. Gas and electricity was on us.
- No pets were allowed unless they were an ESA approved. Other than that there was no other troubles.
- Most people stayed in Overland Park about 40 miles away (west) from the tech building, I lived in the main campus about 30 ish miles (east).
- We had a bit of Indian student population in Warrensburg as well.
