- On campus housing: It is very expensive for an Indian student and is only available for Undergraduate students and not graduate students.
- Campus is huge and uphill sometimes: The campus is very huge and it is a pain sometimes to walk without a cycle. There are some paths that are uphill so can be tiring to go anywhere.
- Parking: Though there are parkings available, you have to buy a season pass to be able to park on campus. And there are less parking available for non season pass holders.

- No I did not receive any scholarship at the time of admission to the University of Utah. However, scholarships can be achieved during the semester if a student performs well in his academics.
- Some of my batchmates have received financial aid which includes research assistantships (RAs) and teaching assistantships (TAs).

- The university is known for Systems and Data courses, It is more research focused and has great faculty. There was a better change to get RA/TA.
Dislikes
- They have a poor job placement efforts for students. Not much help is delivered and one is left on their own for this.

The location was ideal given that the campus is within Salt Lake City, but remains separate from the city, which allows for a 'college campus feel' of living rather than city living. It is also close to the number of our outdoor sites.
