Campus Life
- The campus is excellent when it comes to extra curricular activities. There's a good social life, lots of clubs to explore. The best part is that UCF gives free tickets to Universal Orlando theme parks every year to across 10000 students.
Accommodation
- There are 5-6 majorly popular housing options here with a 1 year lease options. Rent would be around 800$ for a private room and 400$ for a shared room. There are many UCF housing groups on Whatsapp where it would be easier to find accommodation.

Many clubs and events were available since the school is very large. Their main objective with these various clubs are to help you get to know your classmates and make friends. Library is great and spacious although some students can get pretty loud. I’d recommend more study rooms. Wifi is not the best but it works most of the time. Sports facilities are amazing since football is important to the college
Accommodation
The school is very accommodating. If you are in need of accommodations they would make it for you. They also had a textbook loan program so you can receive $500 to use for textbooks before your loan disbursement hits your bank account

- Affordability, renowned professors, ranking in CS and location of the University.
Campus Life
Campus is pretty spread and huge. There is a recreation center as well where one can play all kinds of sports and go gyming. Wifi is also available all over the campus for free. Most of the resources can be obtained from the digital section of the library in case needed.
Accommodation
I live in an Apt off campus. The rent for my Apt goes up to $2500 per month including the electricity. Since I live with 5 people, it comes down to 420. Other expenses like water and food can be covered with $300. On an overall, the total comes down to $720. I hope the idea is met now.

Competitiveness: Due to its reputation and quality, the program may attract a large number of highly qualified applicants, making the admissions process highly competitive. Workload: The coursework and research requirements of the program can be demanding, requiring a significant time commitment and dedication. Balancing coursework, research projects, and personal commitments can be challenging.

- Reputation and Rankings: UCF has been steadily climbing in national rankings and gaining recognition for its academic excellence and research contributions. Many students are attracted to the university's growing reputation and the opportunities it presents for a quality education.
- Campus Facilities and Resources: UCF boasts modern and well-equipped facilities, including state-of-the-art research labs, libraries, recreational centers, and student organizations. The campus provides a conducive environment for learning, research, and extracurricular activities.
Dislikes
- Large Class Sizes: One common complaint among students at UCF is the large class sizes, especially in introductory courses. With a large student population, some classes can be overcrowded, making it challenging for students to engage with professors and receive individualized attention. This can hinder the learning experience and lead to a sense of disconnection for some students.
- Limited Parking: UCF's parking situation is often a source of frustration for students. The university's rapid growth has resulted in a shortage of parking spaces, leading to difficulties finding a spot, especially during peak hours. This inconvenience can cause stress and delays for students trying to get to class or campus activities.
- Lack of Campus Traditions: While UCF offers a vibrant campus environment, some students feel that the university lacks strong and established campus traditions. Compared to some older and more established institutions, UCF's relatively young age means that it may not have as many longstanding traditions and cultural events that students can participate in and feel connected to. This can lead to a sense of disconnect and a longing for more established university traditions.

I've lived off- campus nearby UCF Tivoli Apartments in Orlando is a popular housing option for students attending the University of Central Florida (UCF). Known for its convenient location near campus, Tivoli offers a range of apartment styles, including one, two, three, and four-bedroom units. The apartments are well-maintained and come fully furnished with modern amenities. While specific costs may vary, Tivoli Apartments generally offer competitive rates compared to other on-campus housing options. The community also provides various amenities such as a swimming pool, fitness center, study areas, and social spaces, making it a comfortable and convenient choice for UCF students seeking off-campus housing.

- Location, ranking, course curriculum were the reasons why I chose University of Central Florida.
- The environment and inclusivity that they provide to the students by giving them the opportunity to express themselves by allowing them to participate in different ways. They also help by providing different resources.
Dislikes
- Nothing in particular to be honest, I think they are doing a great job of providing A one quality of education along with resources. I would say they can try and provide more resources for international students.
Campus Life
They have best campus in Florida or maybe even in the US and they provide a lot of activities on campus like kayaking, tower climbing, challenge course, etc.
Accommodation
The accommodation costs are around $1k per month and includes great infrastructure.

I lived on campus my first year and it was very nice and convenient. I do prefer living in an off campus apartment, though. It makes me feel like more of an adult, rather than someone who funnels money to the college
Only two hours away from home, has a good CSD program. I had to pay a little fee to apply here, but it wasn't a lot! I also applied USF and gained admission, but ultimately chose UCF! I am very happy with my decision, especially after being here for a year and a half! The CSD program has welcomed me and I feel confident in my ability to thrive here.
Accommodation
I live on campus and I like it because it is really convenient and I have many resources on campus. Plus, commuters have the struggle of finding parking before classes. I like my Resident Assistant and plan on being one next year.
It wasn't too far from home but far enough and was not nearly expensive as a private school. The application fee was not bad and it was my top choice school so I was committed to getting in. I applied to five colleges and got into four. I was a straight-A student in high school but my SAT score was 1160.
