My overall experience at UCF was great. UCF is a research university and hence has a rich variety of opportunities for students who want to excel in the field of Computer Science, especially in the field of Computer Vision. The main point of contact for Computer Vision candidates is Dr. Mubarak Shah.

Course Curriculum

UCF's course curriculum is not updated as per the industry needs. The course is advanced in the field of Computer Vision. Research Assistants are exposed to industry level tools and technologies and have a rich research experience in the field of Computer Vision.

Faculty

8

UCF has a lot of professors and the number of students in a class are 60-70 for specialized subjects such as Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence and 100+ for compulsory subjects such as Computer Architecture and Design and Analysis of Algorithms. The professors are highly educated and skilled in their area of expertise. The graduate co-ordinator Dr. Sumanta Pattanaik who teaches Computer Graphics to graduate students is highly approachable to student's queries and answers queries of students promptly. The faculty and staff are from highly reputed universities such as Stanford, Harvard, MIT, UPenn, etc. A professor's head teaching assistant named Dr. Jim Geist has recommended me on Linkedin for my work. Please have a look at the recommendation on my Linkedin profile:-(https://www.linkedin.com/in/adityaanilpawar281902/)
