Required Exams for Admission
Course Curriculum
- Data Analytics program is updated with latest curriculum, professors also teach new topics, tools and tech which are being used by major industries, they also introduced AI in their latest curriculum.
- For industrial exposure it is necessary to build connections with professors and PHD students which would help to get research and industry experience. 2 classes per day, one was 12 pm to 3pm and other was from 6 to 9 pm. My class had 30 students.
Admission Experience
- The main reason for choosing this university is because of its focus on data subjects, the way each and every course helped me to engineer and deal with data. My background has always been in data, for this reason as well I chose this university. My overall experience has been really life and career changing and it really helped me land the role at my current organization.
- My scores: GRE 304, IELTS 7.5.
Faculty
- There is 1 faculty per 30 students plus a TA to assist, Faculties are well versed in what they are teaching. The faculty that left the most impact on me was Dr Spencer lyon who guided me and taught me majorly about AI and helped in my final semester project.
Campus Life
- Campus life is really good, there are really cool recreational centers, there are data clubs and so many workshop events , there are large playgrounds and facilities for extra curricular activities including football, tennis, swimming, gym etc.
Part Time Jobs
- Getting part time job is difficult in UCF, you need to build connections before 6 months before coming inperson to university and start applying.
Placement
- There was 95 percent for all international students in my batch , average salary was around 60-90k. Best way to find jobs is to build connections with professors, events in universities, connections on linkedin and campus fairs to get a job.
Accommodation
- There was a whatsapp ucf group that i joined from where i got accomodation, i used to pay 450$ including utilties and used to share room with a roommate. All the facilites including washer dryer, electricity were included.
Exams
- Appeared for IELTS and GRE.
- Documents required were WES Report, SOP, LOR and CV.
Fees
- Total tuition fees for me was 36000 dollars , excluding living expenses.
