Need to submit SoP, 3 LORs, CV and no interview, Income documents, Transcripts. NCSU ranks no. 1 globally for Textiles and it has very good research facilities. I definitely recommend this college my overall experience is good, if you're non CS students you can definitely try for Assistantship, and there are multiple scholarship opportunities and on-campus part-time opportunities are good but on average remuneration for on-campus part-time is $10

Course Curriculum

10

Mine is MS Textiles this is a Thesis course, This lasts for 4 semesters and credits required are 36 in which 2 credits are mandatory from graduate seminar, and need to work on thesis for at least 2 semesters, 6 credits can be completely student choice. NCSU has great lab facilities and professors are really experienced

Faculty

9

Faculty student ratio is 14:1, faculty is really friendly and industry experienced, you can schedule meetings with any professor by checking their calendar, they support us by guiding in proper research manner. Dr. Lisa Chapman left a incredible impact on me she helped me with faculty letter my scholarship applications and she recommended me for Graduate Assistantship

Campus Life

10

Life at NCSU is incredible, it has highspeed WiFi connectivity throughout the campus, it has 4 libraries on campus, lot of clubs and events recently a big event about giving back has conducted which is really awesome.

Placement

10

For Textile they have multiple placement options, and for masters students the median salary would be around $80k to $100k but for CS students placements are too poor

Accommodation

Off Campus
7

There are plenty of on-campus and off-campus housing, I prefer off-campus and the average rent for a 2bhk apartment is around $1500 and utilities will be around $400

Exams

My scores- Duolingo 2023: 115; GRE 2022: 319, verbal: 153, quant : 166, writing:3

Fees

I feel tuition fee is bit expensive they charge around $16,500-$17,000 per semester and living expenses on top of that

Scholarship

No scholarships.
