Admission Experience
- The curriculum is very industry relevant and I was undecided if I wanted to go the research route or take a job. Both the areas at NC State have good facilities so NC State was a no-brainer.
Faculty
- 1:120 for popular courses, but remember the quality is really based on the kind of assignments we get and the efforts needed to be put in. 2 hours/course per week is the average teaching time, so doesn't really cover much
Campus Life
- Campus life is amazing; it's a really big campus (3000 sq meters) with a 5-floor independent library building and easy to get on-campus jobs
Part Time Jobs
- Average in 2019 was $12/hr
Placement
- 90% had a 100k min salary right after graduation. This is also because the quality of intake is very good.

- Reach out to the MAITRI indian Student association. Average rent in 2019 was ~$300
Exams
- My scores: GRE 319, Quant: 169 , AWA: 4, TOEFL 120,
- TOEFL: 120, We need SOP, LOR and CV. Also, one pattern I noticed that NC state admissions are very Quant score focused. So 315 above should get your a spot and even if it is less with 168+ quant, there are chances

- USD 18000/semester and around 700 for living expenses
