Almost everyone who opts for placement is placed in sectors ranging from core to non-core, from consulting and finances to the technical and analytics. Many students opt for higher studies and most get admissions to top industries around the world like the Ivies. The startup culture is also making its way with 4 startups. The highest salary package offered is around 30 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is around 5 LPA-6 LPA.
I am Still studying so haven't experienced working or gone for an internship. But as students, we do get a chance to work backstage at exhibitions and fashion shows. They ensure we students get a placement at good places with good packages.
The LCBS institute conducts its own entrance exam in order to grant admission to the postgraduate programs. I appeared for the entrance exam and ultimately got shortlisted for the next round. After the counseling round, I presented all my documents and paid the fee. I was looking for a diploma in digital marketing and ended up on this course and the media management curriculum was an added plus to what I was looking for.
Students have to purchase prospectus along with the application form, from the college by paying the prospectus fee. Then students have to appear for the entrance exam. The entrance exam was pretty basic and they notified me that I have to appear for the counseling round. The entire selection process was pretty hectic. I am very much satisfied with the course curriculum. We read about general media management and relations management.
This is one of the institute where its name speaks for itself. Entrepreneurs are most welcomed and trained over here as per the current industry scenarios. They build confidence through entrepeneurial lab, idea lab and industry interface, next step is opportunity identification and selection.
Experienced professors, good faculty members, and better campus premises with huge lecture rooms. Live interaction with leading & experienced industrialist & entrepreneurs while national seminars & conferences on various interesting topics.
LCBS is the most practical college, if you lie in the criteria which does not get you into IIMs. Yes, it costs above average but its nice investment in the long run. Talking about studies, it’s a mixture of good and bad.
Rules are strict. Students have to be punctual at college timings. In starting, schedule seems tough but after days goes, all turns into quality. Whatever the schedule is: it is good and long term beneficial for the growth of the students.
The college atmosphere is good but students’ strength is low and the facilities available in the college are average in nature. Overall, the college is average for studies and excellent for having fun. The students need to learn that they are representing their college, their activities and their performances, so they need to work hard and improve themselves to make their name and of the college too.
It was because of the lack of industry knowledge in the beginning and like every student I was also very confused before making a final decision.
Now I am extremely happy with my decision.
