JUT Ranchi B.Tech Mechanical Engineering: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

After the sixth semester, students at JTU University can participate in interviews with companies like HEL, TATA, NALCO, and MECON, primarily based in Jharkhand. In the mechanical engineering field, the highest salary package offered is between 5 to 9 lakh per annum, with most placements offering between 3 to 4 lakh annually. In 2020, the placement rate was about 50%, with 26 out of 60 students securing positions. TATA also provides project opportunities and training, with some projects completed and others ongoing.

JTU University, governed by the Jharkhand Government, offers affordable tuition fees. After the first year, government funds are transferred directly to SC, ST, and OBC students' accounts, covering their education costs. Additionally, the E-Kalyan portal offers scholarships for these students. Despite a fee increase of approximately 300,000, the college maintains good study and teaching facilities.
