Ques. Does SKDU LLM require a mandatory entrance exam for admission?
Ans. No, SKDU does not mandate a specific entrance exam for LLM admission. Admission is primarily merit-based on LLB percentage. However, the university may consider CUET-PG scores. Students who have appeared for CLAT-PG or CUET-PG can mention their scores during the application process.
Ques. What specialisations are available in LLM at SKDU?
Ans. SKDU offers LLM in four specialisations: Criminal Law, Business Law, Family Law, and General (non-specialised). Each specialisation has a seat intake of 40 seats, totalling 160 seats across all specialisations.
Ques. Is there a 1-year LLM option at SKDU, or is it only 2 years?
Ans. SKDU offers both 1-year and 2-year LLM programmes. The 1-year option is available for candidates who meet the eligibility criteria. The 2-year programme is the standard full-time option. Students should confirm the current availability of the 1-year option at the time of admission.

Ans. The total academic fee for the 2-year LLM programme is Rs 67,000 (tuition: Rs 59,000 + other charges: Rs 8,000). A registration fee of Rs 1,000 is payable at the time of application. Hostel fees (Rs 72,000 per year approximately) are optional and charged separately. There are no other significant hidden charges reported by students.
