Career services: strong relationship with partners and a high placement rate; workshops, sessions, and career fairs that help students prepare for more than job; assistance in securing internships that provide practical experiance
The faculty members are experienced and competent and are able to connect subjects like history and political science to law helping students get a well rounded understanding of law and society at large.
The campus also has a canteen and various leisure places for students to relax and feel the beauty of the nature around such as a lake and beautiful greenery.

Dislikes

Campus in under-construction leading to dust and dirt
Lack of fully functional library although there is enough study material
Lack of connectivity from city except weekends

LIFE AT MNLU NAGPUR

Likes

It has great developing infrastructure. It is fastly growing.
Good exposure in terms of constant seminars, guest lecturers and competitions.
Great intra rounds policies for fair allocation of moot court, PD and other competitions.

Dislikes

Dress code is not good, no option to take single pair of uniform

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is a mix of BA subjects including history, political science, psychology, sociology and economics and LLB subjects encompassing all the legal aspects required. They also have Extra credit courses for those who choose to delve into certain formally includes legal aspects.

A detailed review of Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur

Likes

The best thing about Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur is the infrastructure. It has the best in class infrastructure and probably the best among all of the other national law universities in India.
The campus life is also pretty nice - the fests here are also pretty vibrant, specifically lawkriti and sportacus. About the boys: girls ratio it is 3:7!
The university also has a very vibrant participation is co-curricular activities which helps in the overall development of the student.

Dislikes

The university is located in the outer part of the city which makes transportation a bit hectic.
The construction is still under way and that’s why some it lacks some of the facilities such as - recreational activity centres

Placement Experience:

Placements here are better now since the establishment of the Recruitment Coordination Committee (RCC). However, many of my seniors have gotten their PPO's on their own without any help from the university. Seeing as the establishment is relatively newer, not a lot of offers are made from the university itself. That said, the faculties are usually helpful in securing PPO's or letters of recommendation, which some require for further studies abroad

MNLU - N A definite place you should land in.

Likes

The faculty of the university is superb with great experience many of them are graduated from different NLU's. They are more than happy to help us and clear our doubts.
The infrastructure of the university is among one of the best infrastructure of the different NLU's. Hotel rooms are spacious and also have balcony, the mess food is also good as compared to other hostel messes.

Placement Experience:

Our university is relatively new but then it also offers assessment internships and placements for students. Among the students who want placement, many of them are placed. Further, the university also conducts a recruitment drive for 5th-year students. The maximum package offered was approx 20 lakh per annum.

Issues with the curriculum and sometimes the teaching methods
Concerns about the responsiveness and helpfulness of the administration

Placement Experience:

You become elegible student for the campus placement in 4th year where you gat your PPOs from whre you have done your internships. Last year one senior got PPO from Tri Legal of 14 LPA The percentage of student get placed is 60%.

All about NLU, Nagpur

Likes

The things that mostly liked in this University is faculties. They are well and highly qualified.
Second things is about the well equipped infrastructure and facilities. Hostels give hotel vibes and rooms are well furnished.
There are different committees which held various events in University.

Dislikes

Some things are under construction and the university is in the peak of getting higher.

Placement Experience:

From 4 year the students used to get the PPO and 5 year is mostly eligible to get the highly paid placement. Placement are offered by Trilegal, Shardul and Amarchand and many more. There is placement cordination committee that help to get the placement. On average 90 percentage of placement happens and it depend upon the CGPA of students. My plan after getting degree is about the litigation, as I found litigation as my core interest.

Life at a Law School that to NLU

Likes

State of the Infrastructure specially the class room, most of the class room assisted with modern technology
College also conduct various cultural fest and events like Lawkriti and Sanskrostav
Natural backdrop of the university is amazing with lake of it's own and the greenery,

Dislikes

University is in the construction phase so there are limited sports facilities as now.
Quite far from the main city so, dependent on scheduled bus timings

Placement Experience:

Placements at the university are going at a decent pace. Requirement Coordination Committee is concerned with Campus Placements assisting students and the law firm interaction at campus. Where as many of the students also option for direct litigation after the course.

Well structured courses that covers all important aspects

Opportunities and Growth Chances for Upcoming law student at Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur

Likes

The Infrastructure is fantastic with modern usage of technology all over the campus
The Hostel and Mess is having some of the best facilities provided in the comparison of other National Law Universities.
The Faculties provide a world class experience of their subject in expertise and it really helps the students.

Dislikes

The campus is a bit far from the main city
There are instances where the infrastructure is being developed but I believe it will be completed in the upcoming time
The University is having less number of restaurants and cafes near

Placement Experience:

The placements of this University is particularly rising every year where the placement offers include salaries upto 15 lakhs per annum. The students get placed in tier 1 law firm such as Trilegal,Khaitan and Anagram.

Life at MNLUN

Likes

All the faculties of mnlu nagpur have outstanding achievements.
An established mooting culture and perhaps the best among all the nlu’s.
Our campus has a lake insideand it is best for evening strolls.

Dislikes

The collage is too far from the city and cabs are way expensive for a student to afford, hence we are stuck at the campus more often than not.

Placement Experience:

If i take the median of last three years almost 70 % of the students have been placed from our campus abd average placements are around wr lakhs and from corporate to top law firms we have all of them coming to our campus some of the top law firms that come for placement are Cyril and Shardul amadrchand, khaitan etc

PERKS OF BEING INTO MNLU NAGPUR

Likes

the course and the phD professor holder and various committee are present which make it easier for the students to get work done
the university spread over 60-65 acreas, which lush green senery and canteen
The facilities the university provides to the students

Dislikes

its under the process of construction which make others feel like the university isnt enough for the studying
The fees increase by ten percent every years

Placement Experience:

The students would be eligable from 9 semester The companies such as axis companies, kPMG The highest package so far was 25000 LPA and avarage was 50000 LPA The 5-10 students are getting placed every year. My plan is to apper for judicary examation after graduation.
