IIIT Pune is well recognized for offering a four-year B.Tech program in two specializations, namely Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). Admission to the B.Tech program is done via the national-level entrance examination, JEE Main followed by the JoSAA counseling process. In order to be eligible for the B.Tech program, candidates need to pass their 10+2 level board examination in the science stream (PCM) with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. The total seat intake capacity for the B.Tech program is 225 students out of which 105 seats are reserved for categories like OBC/SC/ST. For female candidates belonging to different categories, a separate cut-off is released. The first year fee is INR 2.36 Lakhs, and for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years is INR 2.29 lakhs.
