The campus placement start at the starti ng of final year and 20 - 25 companies come for campus placement include both technical and non technical. the average salary for tehnical is 5lpa and for non tech is 7lpa.

As I complete my diploma in mechanical engineering, I want to pursue my degree in mechanical only. In my class, we have 35 students. Faculty is cooperative, minimum qualification of teachers is M.Tech. In one semester there are 3 mst's of average difficulty level.

Campus placements are average in our college, companies from the Chandigarh region and the banking sector are there for placement drives. The average package is 2.5 lpa to 5 lpa. Final-year students with no backlog are eligible for placements. I got placed in jio after completing my degree.

From 7 semesters you are eligible for campus placements, there are several companies visit our campus like Infosys, trident, are other new startups, the highest package is 10 lac and the average package is 3-4lac, and 60 percent of students get placements. I want to go through college placement after degree completion.

The placement record of the college is good and faculty members are also highly educated and trained. I choose the CSE course for my interest and its good placement package in software engineering and machine learning. The faculty is qualified and also helpful.

After the 6th sem, you can apply to sit in placements, the most recent company that visited was trident which offered a package of 15 LPA and the average package is 3lpa offered by service-based companies, the percentage is almost 10 to 20%, I plan to pursue mtech.

I select the electrical engg. branch in the college but don't recommend the college for this. teachers are good but no study environment in college, all teachers are less qualified but some teachers are very good terms exams are in every 6 months after the new session starts, exams are moderate to difficult.

Students are eligible for the placements from the 7th semester. Companies like Ultratech, Yash construction, JK Lakshmi Cement, and many more have visited for the placement drive. The highest package is about 7.8 lac and the average package is around 3 lac per annum. Very few students are placed. My plans are to pursue masters after graduation.

I only choose this course because there are more things to be improved in terms of infrastructure in Kashmir. we were 63 students in our batch 2015 and as per subjects were faculty. Also for the lab there were related experienced staff. Apart from this, we had a HOD, who was heading all the staff of our branch. All the faculty members were well-qualified and experienced. The teaching method of the faculty was unique and they used always alternatives to help us understand.HOD used to inspect along with the director of the college to check the knowledge gap of students and all feedback was shared at that particular point. Lab classes were provided to help students in understanding practically. Exams are like MST every month and reports were shared by HOD itself. After that semester exams are conducted after 6 months for which dates are decided by MAHARAJA RANJIT SINGH PUNJAB TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY. The exams depend on the hard work of students.

students become eligible for placements in 7th semester, this year TCS Wipro Infosys and some local startups reacher our college and they made around 8 offers for BTech computer science student,highest on-campus package was 360000 and lowest was 120000 the average is 240000, percentage of students getting placement is very low only some students got jobs they were so less that you can label them as the "chosen ones" my plan after the degree are to look for an off-campus job
