The overall faculty of the fine arts department is satisfactorily good.
The seats are good in the class is a good strength projector good stuff there is people always helping each other.
To be honest amity university kolkata gives placement very well.

Dislikes

Food are not good and healthy sometime can cause food poisoning
Transportation could be problematic due to the college's location off the main route, leading delays and inconvenience for students commuting to and from campus.
The biggest con for the hostel student is they are not allowed to go out during weekdays. This becomes highly inconvenient in some situations and also during some emergency.

An insider's view into college life at Amity University Kolkata

The aspects of college that I was looking for as a freshers, I found in Amity University Kolkata.
The professors are all very friendly and helpful. They are experts in their own fields, their teaching methods are definately beneficiary and understandable. They support us in every way possible in case of our career development.
Amity University Kolkata has one of the best infrastructure, including the campus amenities, the laboratories are well equipped and plenty of room for professional development

Placement Experience:

Campus placements start on the final year. Before that students are encouraged towards internships, different exams and projects. There are many companies like Amazon, TCS, cognizant etc hire students each year. The highest package changes from year to year but the average is 1.5lpa

A deep dive into Amity University Kolkata

Likes

College have modern amenities, modern infrastructure
Faculty is good and helpfull canteens have huge variety of food
Bank, library, clinic all are available in campus

Dislikes

High amount of Paperwork and assignments are there
Sports culture is very much less in this college
Campus is not so big and proper playground not available

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good the average package they provide in a btech computer science engineering course is 8-10 lacs per annum highest package offered was 32 lacs per annum.More than 90% students got placed in 2023 placements. My plan after getting this degree is to study for cybersecurity course.

The infrastructure and the facilities provided bybthe college
The environment of the college is spectacular.
The faculties are one of the best and highly qualified.

Dislikes

The course cost of almost every course is very high.
The administration is a bit late at works.
The marks added to the final result acc to the attendance degrades the final CGPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The vast knowledge and variety of subjects provided in the curriculum is very helpful in the field of journalism and mass communication. The subjects are taught in depth by the faculties and the examination are held as timely.

Then clubs like sports club events club fashion club do activities on regular basis.

Well location of the university , administration, crowd .

From second last semester students become eligible for placement and placements are offered to students some of them are tcs wipro anand birla clothing brand etc for engineering highest package was 34 lakhs usually 90% of students get placed.i will start working for any firm.

Campus is next level luxurious and maintained
Job placement is good bye the college management

Bca is a 3 years course. I choose this course for better job opportunities and in High Secondary education I have computer science so I have quite knowledge from previously for that reason I choose bca course

Navigating BCA at Amity University Kolkata

Likes

Campus is very good and big. It also has a football turf
Amity held every year a new fest and Amity's most famous fest is Amiphoria
Environment is very good in the college there is also a swimming pool

Dislikes

Outside gate environment every one smokes even girls too
For hostellers there are many restrictions
Canteen food is not up to the mark and there is lot of crowd at lunch time

Placement Experience:

To be honest Amity University Kolkata gives Placement very well. Many companies came this year and very good companies like BT, TCS, Cognizant etc. Amity University Kolkata has a good placement cell. I also got placed in British Telecom company.

Likes

The coordination between all the departments and clubs during normal times as well as during events.
The safe and clean college campus with the strict rule of anti ragging
Friendly and helpful faculties, strict towards attendance makes us attend classes. Although it's fun.

Dislikes

Classrooms should have been better according to the fees they are taking
More course should have been added in the university

Placement Experience:

I have heard from my seniors that the placement cell provides internship and placement according to the academic qualification of their students. The college provides placements even after passing college till three years.

Well I have not experienced this personally but I have heard from my seniors its good Also that st young age getting good internships So thatswhy I would say as my teacher has also told There are good placements Send something PPL further to be in. I'll find a job out of the country or if I get some other good placement within the campus then I can also do that.

The teaching methods of the teacher's and professor's are top notch and they usually teach us in digital mode.

Dislikes

The price of the course curriculum is a bit high.
The sports complex and library aren't open up 24/7.

Placement Experience:

•There is a good history of Amity regarding the placement's as for 2023 The highest ctc offered was 33 lpa from Amazon. • Many other companies also arrive in our college like SAP, IBM, SALESFORCE, CHELSON GORDON, EY, JP.MORGAN, etc. • There are 100% placement offered by our university.

Review of BCA course at Amity University Kolkata

Likes

The professors were kind and helpful, supported us a lot.
The campus and infrastructure was good. All classes has air conditioning.
Canteens had good quality food and campus life was great.

Dislikes

Labs had very bad specifications computers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subjects/courses taught were upto the mark but ya the curriculum lacked advanced programming skills. The teaching was fine for the curriculum but i feel it lacked much coding skills. Exams were conducted in monthly basis and final exam was a bit tough and conducted after 4 months into each semester.

Amity University is a premiere institute of Kolkata established in 2015 offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various courses. The university can be reviewed on the following parameters:

FEES & SCHOLARSHIPS

The university provides an ample amount of scholarships at undergraduate and postgraduate level with different flexibilities. Merit scholarships are provided with 100% to 25% margin. Up till now 25000 scholarships have been granted to students. The fee structure is affordable as compared to other Amity colleges situated in India. For B.Tech, the fee is Rs. 7 lakh and Rs. 1.5 lakh for M.Sc.

PLACEMENTS

University’s Average package is Rs. 4 lakhs while Highest Package is Rs. 28 lakhs. The major recruiters are Amazon, BYJU’s, Federal Bank, Deloitte, and KPMG.

RESEARCH

Amity Kolkata specifically provides a broader range of research opportunities ranging from international research to national research. The institute has catered 500 books in different domains along with 6000 research publications.
