The Unfiltered Reality of the College.

Likes

I liked here is all about is some goods friends.
Labs are very good here but you cannot acsess anytime.

Dislikes

I am not liked faculties and teaching methods due to the language issue.
I am not this city due to not a big city.

Students are eligible from the 7th semester for campus placement. Jio, Amazon, Tata, Wipro, Webel, and many more companies are visited here and good numbers of offers made. The highest placement is 26 lakhs and the average placement is 13 lakhs. 90 percent of the students got placed on campus.

I like everything. Nothing is dislike in this college

Placement Experience:

The placement is good means 100% placement.From the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement. The jio, amazon, flipkart, Tata, Cognizant etc Jio is mass recruiter for this college.The highest package belongs 2300000. And the average package is 12-13 lacks. Every year 99.9% students getting placement.

Review of my college IIIT Kalyani were i wasted by 4 years of my life

Likes

I like the there is no strict rule for 75% attendance.
This college is a institute of national importance
Good placement and percentage of students placed every year.

Dislikes

Campus is still under construction so there is no campus life

Placement Experience:

Placement provided by the college is good till date last year there were 58 students who were sitting for placement out of which 52 students got placed highest package offered is 44 lpa by motive company and average package is 12.76 lpa

IIIT Kalyani review

Likes

There is no attendane pressure like other colleges
The semester break is long enough to learn new skills
The techers are very supportive and eveready for helping studnets

Dislikes

The diversity is little less more diversitywould be preffred
More extra curricular ativities should be introduced

The course curriculum is excellent and the teachers are very supportive. The environment of the college is excellent no attendance pressure. The professors are highly qualified and are ready to help students

ONE OF THE BAD IITS

Likes

Good programming culture but not best either
Good ac in class with projector facility
Good canteen in the college campus for eating

Dislikes

No permanent campus so lack college life
Faculty coordination with students is not good
Not good environment by director and regitrar

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always wanted to be in tech sector that is why I choose this course. Faculty student ration is quite low that is 40:1. Although Faculty are quite qualified every one is PhD scholar but they lack teaching skills only imitating slides. Term exam was timely but the results were super untimely

Likes

As a college of national importance we can meet students from different states and different languages.
We can see their culture, their language and their interests.
Many new ideas from different people can be shared which may help us in the future to implement.

Dislikes

We are not having a permanent campus here. So there is no campus life.
We cannot have any events in the college because of not having space and no support from college.
The food here is not that much tasty everywhere it is aalooo.

Placement Experience:

Last time the placements were good we had highest package of 26 lakhs from amazon and having average package of 11 lakh. The campus placements season starts from the 7th semester where you can have internship and then full time job role. This year till now we didn't get a good company may be later.

Likes

Some professors are good and kind to us.
Seniors are helpful and down to earth and very talented.

Dislikes

We haven't got our permanent campus yet.
Hostel is good but there is lot of restrictions.

Placement Experience:

Last year you can sit in placements. Many companies visited here with an average package of 12 lpa. The highest package is around 44lpa. 90 % of students got placed last year. Due to the recession this year it can get low.

I liked about college placement since it has good placement
Good in coding related clubs where you can explore lot.
It has good gymkhana structure and elections

Dislikes

The college doesn't have permanent campus
The college doesn't gave preference to cultural activities
College doesn't have placement coordinator

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college is decent. It has highest package of 44 lpa(motive) company. And it has median pacage of 12lpa and average package of 12.76 lpa. There are some good companies coming to college like Amazon, motive deloitte etc..,

The senior are helping in nature and placement is fine.

Dislikes

The official building is not made yet college life is bad.

Placement Experience:

From the fourth year, students are eligible for placement. You can get the correct details of the company visiting our college from the official website as it contains the correct information. Last year's highest package was around 27 and 89% placement.
