Sabarmati University (Formerly called Calorx Teachers University) will release application for PhD Admission 2023 (June session) soon. Admission to the program is based on the entrance exam and personal interview conducted by the University. Sabarmati University, Ahmedabad offers full-time/ part time PhD degrees in Pure and Applied Sciences, Social Science and Humanities, Commerce and Management, Engineering and Technology, etc. University offers a total of 15 courses under this program. The course work may range between 3-6 years depending upon the stream selected. The minimum requirement to apply for a Ph.D. at this university is a Master’s degree in a relevant subject.

Calorx Teachers University Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria

• A master’s degree in a relevant subject with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university.
• Candidates with M.Phil./ NET/ SLET are also eligible to apply.
• Master’s degree with 555 marks or NET/ SLET/ Entrance Test.
• A valid score in the entrance test conducted by university or NET/ SLET score.
• Qualified through Research Entrance Aptitude Test (REAT) conducted by Sabarmati University itself.
• Members of ICAI/ ICMAI/ ICSI with more than 60% marks in graduation can also apply.

Calorx Teachers University Ph.D. Admission Guidelines

Admission to Ph.D. programs is basically entrance based. Applicant must qualify entrance test conducted by university i.e. Research Entrance Aptitude Test (REAT) or UGC-NET or M.Phil. with more than 55% marks. 

Admission is offered on the basis of merit/ cut-off list released followed by a personal interview. Selected applicants will have to report to campus and submit their documents after completion of the admission procedure.

3. Go through the instructions mentioned there before filling the form.
4. Fill in the information required in the application form like personal details, contact details, educational information, etc. very carefully.
5. Candidates belonging to Sponsored, Part-time or Fellow category must attach a scholarship certificate.
6. Lastly, the candidate will be informed telephonically or through mail about the release of the admit card or exam dates.
