The placements and industry connection is one of the best in the country, every week we have industry specialists guest lectures.
The placements and internships are another aspect where the college excels. We have highest package upto 50Lakhs.

Placement Experience:

The students can apply for placements from the 6th semester, but they have to complete the whole 8 semester to start working. Companies like L&T, HCC, J Kumar, TATA Projects are our major recruiters, many MNCs and other top company like to hire from NICMAR. The college has genuine 100% placement, the students who generally do not get placed are ones who have family business or startups. After completing the degree and mostly interested in a job for the 1 to 2 years to gain some experience. Then I may consider options like higher studies or a business.

From semester 3 studenyare eligible for placements. All the major companies in this industry of civil, real estate, infrastructure, construction offer placements in NICMAR University Pune every year. Some of the companies are- HILTI, L&T, AFCONS, RELIANCE, ADITYA BIRLA, BIRLA ESTATE, TATA PROJECTS, RAYMOND REALTY, ASIAN PAINTS, GODREJ PROPERTIES, etc. 97% students get placed. Almost 123 companies visited the Pune campus for our placement drive of 2020. My batch of 2018-2020 managed to secure 100% placement within 3 months of graduation only. The average package that we were offered was around 6.75 lakhs with a total of 571 offered made by top companies. Some of the top companies that made most placement offers were ITC, ICICI, Principle ACS, Goldman Sachs, KPMG, Tata Steel, Syntel Inc, KEC International, Ashoka Buildcon, Juniper Hotels, KEC International, etc.

A total of 170-180 businesses made site visits to our senior class. A variety of profiles are on offer, including project manager, BIM specialist, marketing agency owner, and many others. It's also a pretty stringent hiring process. The department in charge of job placement worked long and hard. Alumni have a strong network. In the construction industry NICMAR students are preferred by companies like Oberoi, HCC, Shaporji Palonji, L&T, and TATA In general, the positioning is excellent.

Last year, the total number of companies visited the our campus were 123 and 99.6% seniors from our program i.e. PGP ACM were placed. Further, the average compensation package was 6.75 lpa. Along with the package, many of my seniors also got allowances, reimbursements, transportation, site allowances, variable pay, accommodation in their offers. Now most importantly, the top employers that offer jobs are HDFC Realty, Reliance Industries Ltd, L&T Construction, JMC projects, Capacity Group, ITC, Kumar Builders and many others.Also, 10-15% students from our senior batch secured overseas placements

My Journey at NICMAR

Placement Experience:

Almost 80-90% of my batchmates got placement from my course. The highest salary package offered for the ACM course was 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was somewhere of nearly 3.5 LPA. The average salary package offered was approximately 5.5 LPA. Big 5 companies hire students from NICMAR. Tata, Reliance, Savills, etc., also visit here for campus recruitment.

NICMAR has a very strong placement cell who looks after the placement for its graduating students. For the placements, the following criteria should have been met i.e. no back papers, a well maintained attendance of 75% and a good GDPA score as well. The average package starts from 5 lakhs p.a and the max offered is upto 25 lakhs p.a. Over 120 companies visit the campus for recruitment. If you have joined Pune Campus, sit and relax. NICMAR is one of the reputed institutes for Construction Management. You will enjoy an unparalleled level of respect whenever you apply to companies like KPMG, L&T, Shapoorji Pallonji.

However, the university will not provide you with everything. You have to work hard to grasp such reputation and job profiles. If you are scoring only 60% in your PG degree and expecting to secure a job offer on the very 1st day, then you are wrong.

The placement process is very rigorous and you might have to go through at least six stages to secure a job offer. Your profile, personality, caliber, capability, and hard work determine the job role you will get.

ACM has a huge strength of 800+ students and if you don't work hard then the recruiters would not have reasons to select you.

It would be highly recommended to take the Distance Course if the aspiring candidate is very serious about pursuing this course.
The degree is not much worth the cost that one is paying.
Most of the prior experienced candidates got job offers with lesser salaries than they were getting before.
The average CTC offered is around INR 6 LPA wherein you do not have much choice with the company that you can get placed anywhere else.

Thus, it is important to take suggestions from students who have recently passed out or are currently graduating and then make the decision.
