My life in NICMAR

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fees was around 16 lakhs for 21 months program and the hostel fees was around 1 lakh for 1 year in hostel.Good environment and batch.And year there was a scholarship programme for the toppers and the environment was good and healthy.Placements were also good.

A Life in NICMAR!

Fees and Financial Aid:

Normal tuition fees are 15 Lakhs for two year full-programme courses. The scholarship was given to students who scored well in the entrance test and in the end trimester exams. For the fees, bank loans were available by HDFC Credila. They have tie up with colleges to help students with fees.

My PGP program at NICMAR cost around 10.60 lakhs in total, which covered the total tuition charges, facility charges along material cost. Expensive. However, we have a choice of several banks from which to choose and pay them on a regular basis. Hostel and residential costs are added on top of the base price. There is also an examination cost. NICMAR gives a little discount on the same type of loan that other banks are offering, thus it's likely that.My uncle was a big help in making it happen. Scholarships are available to students who achieve strong academic standards.

Fee Structure And Facilities:

Total fees for the two year PGP IFDM was 1059100. At the time of admission tuition fee of Rs.2,22,500/- is paid with Rs. 5000/- admission fee, GST of Rs. 40,950/-, security deposit Rs. 3000/-. After this Rs. 2,62,550/- is to be paid every semester for upcoming 3 semesters within 7 days of semester commencement. There are four main scholarship programs namely NICMAR top rankers scholarship, NICMAR means based top rankers scholarship, NICMAR Excalibur award scholarship and NICMAR merit scholarship scheme. Each scholarship has different eligibility criteria.

Fee Structure And Facilities:

The fee structure for PGP ACM program is 13.1 lakh for two years. In this amount, only the tuition fee, examination fee, admission fee, security deposit are included and hostel and food charges are additional. Since, I stayed in hostel campus, I paid 50 thousand extra amount per year for double occupancy.Also, there is provision to pay the fee in installments i.e. before 7 days of the commencement of each semester, fee must be deposited and so I did. Moreover, our college offers several scholarships but eligible can get benefit of only one scholarship for a particular academic term. So the scholarships provided here are NICMAR Top Ranker's scholarship, NICMAR Merit Scholarship, and NICMAR Excalibur Award Scholarship.

Fee Structure And Facilities:

The total course fees for two years Post graduate program in Construction Management is near about 14 lakhs which is quitely very high. But I did not face any problem to afford the course fees because my university provides scholarships. There are several scholarship schemes like NICMAR Top Rankers Scholarship, NICMAR Means Based Top Rankers Scholarship, NICMAR Excalibur Award Scholarship, NICMAR Merit Scholarship Schem. I got Means based top Rankers Scholarship as my family income is less than 6lakhs and my Trimester Performance Index (TPI) was above 8.5.

Fee Structure And Facilities:

The fees are just as expensive as any good business schools, but it is totally worth it, looking at it overall. Mainly because it has a well equipped campus and provides with placements as well. I am not really sure about the fees hike, but we do have scholarships which are given to top 5 students based on the NICMAR entrance test. Scholarships are also given to students whose annual financial income is less than RS 6,00,000. Full waive off to partly scholarships are available. My total cost to study here was around Rs 10 lakhs. When it comes to on campus jobs, we do not have any so far.

I have a few friends who graduated from NICMAR Pune. Here is a brief breakdown of the cost of studying at NIMAR based on the information I got from my friends.

Tuition Fee: For 2 years of PG course the tuition fee will be around 10.59 lakhs.
Hostel Fee: Hostel accommodation will cost around 10,000. You will have to stay in the hostel for 18 months so the total cost for hostel accommodation will be around 1.80 lakhs.
Other Expenses: You will need around 5,000 per month for your other expenses. This will sum up to 1.05 lakhs over 2 years.
Travel Expenses: If you are not from Maharashtra, you will go home and back 4-5 times a year. It will cost around 1 lakh over two years.

This should give you an estimate of the costs.

Is there any way to bear the NICMAR fee for a poor student like me?

Yes, there are a couple of ways you can try to pay your fees and complete your education. Your interest in the course is the only thing necessary. Not everyone on the NICMAR campus is rich or economically stable. To aid a student in terms of fees, there are scholarships available at NICMAR.

If you score the highest marks in the NICMAR trimester, then you will be offered a 100% scholarship for that particular trimester.

Apart from this, there is an option to avail of an education loan. The banks which provide the education loans are available at the time of admission in the campus itself.

The loans are to be paid after you get a job and these policies differ according to the bank for which you need to enquire with the respective banks. So, you can choose which suits you best and take it.
