- You will get lots of opportunities for scholarships ( government as well as private scholarships).

- Ya faculties are well qualified upto the degrees of phd and post docatarate but in terms of teaching they are not very good i say.they just come in class with ppts and start whispering and no one listens actually
- There are some who teach good, but don't support students.
- Some faculty isnt well versed in their subjects or simply dont know how to teach

Placement Experience:
Placements are good enough.
1. Student can seat for placement in 7th semester for BTech and 3rd semester for MTech.
3. Companies around 150 visits every year, such as Microsoft, Citi bank, JSW Steel, tata motors, Bajaj, Siemens, Schindler, Emerson, IOCL, Cognizant, blue star ABB, Eaton etc.
4. Highest package- 38 LPA (by Microsoft)
Average package- 5.0 LPA
5. Placement percentage: around 85%

Placement Experience:
From the 6th semester, students become eligible for the placement. Companies like Microsoft, Wipro, Citi bank, Bajaj, Tata motors, Persistent, Cognizant, etc visit for the placement. The highest package offered goes up to 40 LPA. The percentage of students placed is 80-90 percent.

Placement Experience:
From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. In one year around 200+ companies visit COEP. For Metallurgy, there are 15-20 companies. The main companies which recruit Metallurgical engineering graduates are Bharat Forge, reliance, Kalyani, Tata Motors, Tata Steel, JSW, Vedanta resources, and many more. In 2020 the highest package was 32 LPA and for Metallurgy it was 10 LPA. If you consider overall college's performance then the placement percentage is 85% and for Metallurgy it's 80%.

Remarks:
Being a JEE aspirant, I studied very hard for JEE MAINS and ADVANCED but I couldn't score well enough to get into top NITs and IITs so the only option that remained was going for state colleges. College of Engineering, Pune also known as COEP being the top most Institute for engineering in Maharashtra I decided to go for it. The entrance through which we can get admission in Maharashtra state Colleges is MHT-CET which is quite easy for JEE aspirants.

Coep is Oldest engineering college. Autonomous and deemed University. After Guindy COE and IIT Roorkee this is old University. Coep is past name is University of Bombay. The hall, auditorium, classroom is nice.

College of engineering Pune is known for its heritage and it's one of the best engineering colleges in Maharashtra.
I'm from Pune and it was always my dream to got admitted in COEP.

COEP Pune is a reputed technological institute and offers decent academics and placement opportunities to the students. As far as teaching goes, you can expect to have 50-50 experience. Some of the faculties are excellent and have in-depth knowledge about their subjects, while others are not so much. COEP has a good infrastructure. The departmental labs are well-equipped.
The institute has a good placement record. The highlights of recent COEP placements show the median CTC to be around INR 5 LPA. VISA, eBay, Barclays, Oracle, etc. are among the major recruiters to visit the campus placement.
COEP’s Techfest - Mindspark is the largest techfest in Maharashtra after IITB’s techfest.
