Life at Kristu

Likes

The campus is very big and beautifully maintained
All the basic infrastructure is provided very well
It has high proficiency in teaching staff.

Dislikes

Unwanted rules and regulations, bit strict.
Communism, college provides admission to Christians and Kerala students preferably.
They promote Christianity in a place of education

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is very good over 200+ companies like all big four accounting firms, Accenture, ICICI Bank and other big companies are available. Only one company is allowed per student after getting placed. The average package is around 4 lakhs per annum, with highest package of 8.6 lakhs per annum.

Review of kjc

Likes

The college is very disciplined and provides a holistic development.
The college campus is always clean and nobody dirties it.
The professors are very helpful and they are friendly too

Dislikes

The management members are rude when you go for an enquiry
Every time there is an event the management is really poor

Placement Experience:

From what I know not everybody gets placed. This year only arround 10 students got placed. So,the placement isn't that great honestly I'd say. But however you can always apply on your own you just need to have relevant skills and internships. There are courses offered by coursera and internshala that you might want to join to have better chances of hiring.

My experience and review of KJC so far

Likes

If you're an academic this college is for you. The teaching so far has been amazing and easy
There are 3 different canteens with different prize points,types of food and price and the parking facilities in the college is greats
There are various scholarship opportunities and international student exchange programs for desired academics

Dislikes

The college travel distance is a bit far so it's hard to travel in bus which could lead to being late
The roads leading to KJC are usually full of traffic or crowded due to college being a bit away from main road

Placement Experience:

KJC currently has 107 companies as recruiters for all the courses offered. They have summer internship programs to help you for placements. They have esteemed placements in companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, Grant, PWC, Thornton, Asian Paints, LDRA, Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, ITC, Northern Trust, South Indian Bank, Federal Bank, City Union Bank, Accenture, Amazon, Coca Cola, Cognizant, Deloitte, Oracle, Syncron, Sysfore, TheMathCompany, Wells Fargo, Data Semantics, Johnson & Johnson, Google, HSBC, McKinsey & Co, and PwC.

KJC whole review

Likes

Some teachers are very strict and they teach very well to their students in which they will study.
College take only good and experienced teachera so that students can learn.
Especially the science teachers are very effective and they are very strict and very coordinating teachers.

Dislikes

Some teachers take the class very fast and finish the portions and they leave the children after class
For silly reasons they will take their ID cards and they take fine. Especially the gardener who stands wirh kurta.
No hair and no beard is allowed in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In some semester it's very tough and in some semester it's easy. In even semester it's very hard and in odd semester it's easy and in some semesters the course curriculum gets harder but the teachers will manage it and anyhow they will explain it to you.

Placement Experience:

Our college provides placement facility for student who have a percentage about 65% and they also provide a good package and also they are placed in good firms and companies. Overall the placement opportunies are pretty good.

Kristu - The college you need

Likes

The campus is green and enviornment friendly
The crowd is friendly and look after each other
The faculty is experienced and good at teaching and really efficient

Dislikes

The campus is too small to accommodate this many people

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was kind of skeptic about tourism and hospitality at first but as I got into it I found it very interesting and something that would be a flexible job option and the exams are easy given the teaching methods are effective and the timings are perfect to finish the exams

One of the growing institutions in the country

Likes

Very disciplined staffs and authorities and professional when it comes to the curriculum and running of the institution.Exceptional qualities displayed by the authorities and staff members including teachers of the reputed institution .
Very friendly atmosphere and gives great importance to the academic needs of the students as well as the concerns of the guardians of students are met with responsible approach and sinceres responses to the following matters.
Conducts many institutional campaigns ,programmes as well as exhibitions to enhance and encourage the students in their respective fields and provides opportunities to showcase their knowledge as well as talents to fellow members of the college.

Dislikes

The college is located at a remote location which may be impose difficulties at times .
Dress code may be very rigid and strict and is not comprimised.

Placement Experience:

The students are required to do internship after completeing 4 semesters if their degree and college provides internship options to the students.Placements are also suggested after the completion of degree.

Likes

The atmosphere of the college was very good. They campus was very clean and greenary.
The atmosphere of the library was very good. They had every type of books which was knowledgeable.

Dislikes

The college was very strict about the grooming part.
The college was situated in the outer region of bengaluru. (north bengaluru)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course syllabus was good. It was based on real world applications. And also , the faculty insisted to do add on certifications courses that will be helpful for our resume. I took bsc data science.It was a newly added course but they had all the important relevant subjects according to the course. The timing for exams was correct , as they teach us for 2 months and then we had mid term.

diversity is vast in this college. No one feels left out

Placement is available from most big companies in and outside India. Packages offered vary from 2L per annum to 9+L per annum, depending on the student's performance and the placement offered by the companies

yes there is placement available in our college but it seems from our seniors it is very hard too get in so it really didnt bother me now but maybe ill try to sit for the placement but i dont know time will tell
