Because there is available the distance learning so we can study from home,my university and my home town distance is 90 km so that's I can't go there everyday, that's why I chose the distance learning,we only have go there only for attend 2 day in week.

I had chosen this course as the subject attracted my curiosity and I found the syllabus related to this course on the site helpful for my higher studies. Mainly, from fourth semester, students become eligible for campus placement. A good many of students get chance in some of the well known multi national company. Normally, students get jobs in Tata, Infosys, Wipro, Reliance Pvt. Ltd. Etc. Normally, Infosys , Tata or Wipro provides an average 3.5 Lpa. and highest 4.5 Lpa. But, the percentage of students getting placement is very low. Every year, a maximum 50% students get the chance in these company. Thus, I think, the placement cell should be more improved and well advanced.

We have 5 faculty in our department. They are well efficient and very friendly. Most of the teachers are done their P.hd. They took exams sometimes. Their teaching methods are undoubtedly very good. But some of the teachers are not taking class regularly.

I had selected based in merit list and there are so many deferent courses that you can choose as your criteria not only that its a only college you can select your future education.

The University gives exposure to knowledge and experience and skills, I don't know about other departments. But the English department conducts a seminar on various topics and issues in society. they try to bring notable persons from all around the world with whom students get a chance to interact and they help the students for new opportunities and exposure. one of the notable alumni of the K.U English department is poet Subodh Sarkar

admission here is given on the basis of the marks obtained in you under graduation, in my case my BA marks was considered for my admission and merit list is made on the basis on your marks only. One needs to apply online on their website.

The program of distance learning from University of Kalyani is the best Distance learning program at that I have ever come across. The distance program provides all of the facilities same as any regular program which makes it a wonderful option for all of the student who cannot afford to go to college regularly.
