How is it like to be a part of Presidency University!

Fees and Financial Aid:

The semester fees is 1225INR. However, newly admitted students are required to pay some admission fees which is quite affordable. The fees is same for any caste. As far as I know, there is no financial aid or scholarship available since the fees is kept minimal.

PRESIDENCY: THE DREAM LIFE

Admission fees is nearly 5k(1st semester fees included) After that per semeseter fees(exam fees) is 1225. We don't have any such scholarship, but poor meritirious students may get a scholarship from the university(handsome amount but very limited offered seat)

The time spent in my college was transformative both academically and personally. The college faculty was one of the top tier to consider for the best academic results. While the curriculum was demanding , it verily prepared me for upcoming exams

Dislikes

Sports and others activities are not given chances. The curriculum felt outdated and lacked new innovations and activities that would allow students to engage in other than academics

The year wise fee structure for B.SC Economics and Mathematics students is 1150/- per semester and for other B.SC the fee is 1125/-. For the postgraduates students the fee amount ranges betwenn 1200 to 1300 as per they course. There is no such relaxation in course fee for different category of students . The scholarships and fiancial aid for available for students with respect to government schemes as such for only girl child Kanyashree K3 scheme was available and the amount offered was 2500/-.

All about my Dream college.

Cost is about 1250 rupees every semester. During admission they took 4000 ( tution fees is 900 , registration fees is 500 , lab fees is 1000 ) other fees like caution or development I am quite unsure about . My batchmates share the same fees . Many scholarships are available for us students here like Swami vivekananda cum merit scholarship, kanyashree , INSPIRE etc . Environment here is quite good with the all the teaching staff properly affiliated to teach and proper lab facilities for the science students. Our college not only excels in study but also excels in every other field like singing , dancing , poetry , debate , drama , sports , politics etc . Getting admission in this college was the best decision i ever made . It is also a A+ college according NAAC

In Presidency University BSc program like BSc economics we have to pay 5400 per year. There is a registration fee around 500 rupees. The sports fees are 230 and the laboratory fees are 1000 rupees but there is no any transaction charges. Tuition fees from July to December is 900. There is no in students aid fund. The Identity Card fee is 70 rupees.

Insights and Experiences: A Comprehensive Review of College Life

Our faculties are genuinely brilliant. But some of them are not so good at teaching. So this sometimes creates trouble regarding finishing the syllabus.
The syllabus is sometimes not student friendly. We have our JAM exam on February next year and the 5th semester syllabus is huge.

There's a rumour that the course fees might increase I'm not sure. But the fees is not that high. It's student friendly. The university provides inspire scholarship and sometimes internships are being provided. The department has a placement cell. So chances are there for placement after masters.

After my 12 th standard , im intrested in bio science , should i apply for b.sc hons bio sc or any other course? what is the criteria or requirement for that course

Yes, if you are interested for B.Sc Bio Science hons course, then you can apply for PUBDET exam followed by counselling to get admission to the same. You need to have passed with 70% aggregate in 10+2 and 80% in Biology.
